You're correct, it is a matter of spread, not fees. Users get exactly the exchange rate shown on the site. To get better rates, you should always put in a "Specific Amount".  Since many of these coin markets are thin/illiquid, there is friction in converting between them, and some people incorrectly believe it is a ShapeShift "fee."  We've struggled with how to communicate this effectively to users.

BTW people should think about liquidity concerns before asking for altcoin 'XYZ' to be added...

P.s. Through observation, I guess only Bitcoin can be traded with large volumes (various max vol. limit exchanges repeated times) without moving the spread too much on ShapeShift.

This isn't him the handle will be missing an o and will read @ErikVorhees This will lead to a survey monkey and a "one time double shift" up to 3 btc free.

Don't be stupid guys, it is a phish and watch the handle, the account looks just like the original thing so pay attention. Don't get phished and remember if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Suggestion: add NuShares - it's around top 20 Mktcap, strictly correlated to Nubits (it shares the same wallet and similar infrastructure) and Peershares - cryptocurrencies already available at SS - and its liquidity is increasing considerable at Poloniex.

Factom (FCT) would be a great addition too, as we can see by its recent improvements over development and liquidity at Poloniex.

Its working fine for me and the recent transactions show that it must be working fine for others as well. Clear your cookies and refresh the page.
