only 1000 blocks left to bonus block 80,000 ...

100,000GRN - here we come ...

#crysx #granitecoin #grn

Keep on pushing! Smiley

certainly looks like its happening ... Wink

GRANITECOIN    GRN    Active   349.31 MH/s    0.25 GH/s    13.71    79,330    79,320    0    0.00007336

keep it going guys n gals ...

#crysx

Is that you with all that hash?! I only have 3MH/s Cry

on coinking - no not all me - but mostly Wink

i missed the last bonus block ( block 60,000 ) and dont want to miss this one ... so im putting a lot of miners into it ...

if we hit the block there - then everyone gets a share - so the more the hash rate - the higher the chance of hitting it ... Wink

besides - 3MHash is good if thats what you have - i started with about 250KHash ... Tongue

hi AikaPool ...

tanx for setting up your GRN pool ...

what i normally do is test the pool for stability and usage initially and if it mines well and i dont get any major issues with it - ill add it to the OP ...

looks like you have setup an MPOS pool ... i like MPOS Smiley hehehe ...

ill test the pool tomorrow morning ( its very late night adelaide australia time ) and add it to the list of recommended pools ...

as we continue to grow - we need to have some solid pools we can rely on ... Smiley

please send me your GRN address so that i can deposit some GRN as a thankyou / bounty ...

tanx again ...

hi AikaPool ...

i have had a look at the pool and tested mining there ...

it all seems ok except for just one small issue ... when the difficulty changes as the mining happens - a lot of the times the proxies ( that i run all my miners from ) disconnect and have issues reconnecting again ...

this seems to happen only when the difficulty changes for the miners - i couldnt see it happen any other time ...

other than that - its an MPOS pool - its clean and easy to navigate and i LURVE the 'funds' feature on the top toolbar ...

ill add the pool to the OP ...

Still holding strong @ Coinking!! Cheesy

hahaha - yup ...

coinking and aikapool are the two places i have been mining and they are working well ...

zpool and 7000pool were quite reliable also - but just dont know what is happening as there have not been any communication from either ...

this is one of the reasons we are considering a grn owned pool that will NOT go down ...

for that we just need a dev that can setup a pool for a modest fee and relinquish control over it - under www.granitecoinx.com when it comes up early in the new year ...

but admittedly - coinking have been a strong pool with good service and a strong backing of a userbase ... and not just for grn - but all coins they carry ...

Cheesy

 Shocked  change the pool quickly

we need to ... and it wasnt really quick ... has been about a week now since its been down and no contact at all ...

the OP needs to be as up to date as possible - its only fair ...

we do appreciate that pool operators have setup granitecoin pools to start with - but we also appreciate that if it isnt being profitable for them - that they will also shutdown these pools at their discretion ... and rightly so ...

which is a good thing for the pool operators but a bad thing for granitecoin - which is why we need more permanent pools up - no matter how small or large the mining ... one of our own that will stay up ... Wink

the new year 2015 will have lots to uncover - and plans are starting to take shape ...

all good things take time ... and we have plenty of time on our hands ... we are in no rush ...

SIMPLE - SOLID - STABLE ... and now patient ... hehehe ...

have a good day Haslett5236 ...

hi all ...

we hope mining and trading has been good ...

working on the backend of granitecoin has been challenging but fruitful ...

we are working at a slow pace - but a steady one - and the new year will bring about more changes ...

one of the simpler but still challenging changes is the grn logo ...

the prerequisite has been put forward as it being simple - bold - and recognizable - without being over the top in the design department ...

cryptocoinrank did some ( in my opinion ) superb designs for grn ... these types of designs are awesome for a website and look really professional ... unfortunately he could not continue with the design work ...

but a simple logo for the coin itself - wallet and the like - i believe is needed ...

i put it out there for help with this and bct user Lucas1981 ( a graphic designer in his own right ) was kind enough to work with me on the logo ... the current logo is what we have to show today - posted here ...

your criticisms on the logo ITSELF would be very much appreciated ... constructive criticisms please ...

there following link connects to the two albums that are as their titles say ...

granitecoin work in progress ... and granitecoin proposed new logo ...

http://chrysophylax69.imgur.com/

https://www.dropbox.com/s/c2nplc7kk953mvn/granitecoin_RGB_www_version_small_400px%20400px_transparent%20background.png?dl=0

the proposed new logo ... its bright - its simple - its scalable ( which is a huge bonus - to recognise it even in little button format ) - and its incredibly easy to spot ... Wink

we would appreciate your feedback here or on pm please ...

in a weeks time - we will make a decision as to what will be done - especially with your criticisms in mind ...

next will be the website ... www.granitecoinx.com ...

tanx ...

hi all ...

hope everyone had a great christmas and new years ...

its been a bit of hit n miss with everything since just before christmas day till now with regards to moving forward with granitecoin ...

its now down to the real hard work ...

the first shipment of 750ti cards are now in ... the farm is getting built with much more on the way ...

the logo and website are still being looked at ... and will be underway soon ... still no concrete decisions as to which way we are going to go with it - but we have a much clearer picture of which road we are taking ...

2015 will have a few changes for us ... it will take time - as we dont rush anything - but we will update in the coming weeks the immediate plans ...

firstly though - the mining farm AND the logo AND the website ...

the farm itself is linux based and will be completely converted / built with nvidia 750ti oc cards running ccminer ... more specs to come ...

got a bit of work to finish here ... and its a long road on a hardware and software level ...

the bonus block is only about 8000 blocks away ... its the second last bonus block to be on the grn network - so mine mine mine ...

but most of all - have heaps of fun ...

will keep you all updated in the coming weeks with the progress of the farm - the logo - the website ...
