I am very curious as to why he is essentially giving away gift cards. Has he told anyone what his goals are?
Is he satachi? Is he someone from gyft who is trying to advertise their website? Is he independently wealthy?
Can anyone give any answers that are not speculation?
There are no ulterior motives to what he does. Some people are not motivated by money, but rather the satisfaction they get from seeing others happy. It's a nice balance to the daily scam and greed seen on this forum. |

mostly with amazon gift cards
i have seen him giving them for free or at very low price

This may belong in speculation, but did BiPolarBob eat the entire bear whale sell wall from the other day? He seems to be very wealthy and very well could have had the resources to buy all the bitcoin from the bear whale
BPB also seems to be very generous and is getting people to give to a good cause, therefore he is trustworthy in my book

That doesn't mean he has USD, he could just be BTC rich and not fiat. And the 26,000 BTC was eaten by hundreds of buyers |

I don't think he did another giveaway. All his deals have been public, so such a claim would easily be verified if true or not, plus the amounts he deals with are much less then 100 btc I don't think he necessarily needs to continue to give away (almost) free things, (some people would certainly like it if he did) although I think he should still try to be active in the community if he can. |

He's been gone for a couple weeks at a time before, I wouldn't worry about it. Hopefully he'll show up soon though, I haven't seen him in #bitcoin-otc for awhile either.
