It should be safe mine in the pool. Coins dont show up now but when Alenevaa fix the pool, payouts will work and all mined coins will show up.

Hi Primouno

It's pool problem.
Usukan do you know whats is Aleneeva's situation?

Valpe

I'm getting 20 KHs with 1080ti, so your result seems OK. Which miner are you using? In other algorythms 1080ti is more than twice stronger than 1060.

It's not quite profitable to mine UTC directly. I mine ZCash, convert to BTC and buy UTC.
I use ccminer-x64-2.2.2-cuda9 which Valpe mentioned a few pages back. Yesterday I was mining for two hours UTC in our pool but I don't have any ultracoins in my account. Is it problem with the pool or it was too short to earn something?
Thanks for the info. I thought there was problem only with payouts. We have to wait for Aleneeva

In case nobody noticed

The USD market cap of Ultracoin has doubled in the last month.

UTC has been one of the few Alts to hold against BTC rises of recent

so the USD value of your UTC holdings has doubled...........

CAP 400k to 800k - but we have a long way to go

Greetings team,

I'm asta. I just came across ultracoin today and I am very interested to mine it. I seek guidance from the team as I am new to ultracoin and can't find much information on it. Please do advise me which miner to use, how to set it up and which mining pool to use. Does the wallet always takes a long time to sync up with the network?

Thanks

Hello asta.

This is the pool: http://utc14.yacoin.club/index.php - there's also some help with setting up miners. I'm using GTX1060 GPU and these are my settings: ccminer-x64.exe --algo=scrypt-jane:14 -L 4 -l auto -o stratum+tcp://utc.yacoin.club:3413 -u worker -p password

You can download newest ccminer from here: https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases I'm currently using ccminer-x64-2.2.2-cuda9 on Windows 10 64 bit but if you mine using AMD GPUs I cannot help you.
And yes wallet takes a lot of time to sync, be patient Smiley

"UltraCoin WAVES Token

The UltraCoin WAVES tokens are now traded DIRECTLY on the WAVES DEX (decentralised) exchange against many other digital currencies including BTC WAVES etc - trading is done directly from your own WAVES wallet.

I can't find this trading pair on Waves dex.

here tis

Open your Waves wallet
Type in Ultracoin top left side - select the only UltraCoin ID from the drop-down menu
Make sure Bitcoin entered by default in the box to the right side

Bingo

Buyers are thin but a few sellers show

Hi Asta

Welcome

Use ccminer with nvidia. If you have older card use cudaminer.
Idont know what you need for mining with new amd cards. But if you have older amd use yacminer.

All miner with scrypt-jane support should work.
You can mine on the pool without UTC wallet. So no need to wait.

Happy mining

Valpe

As Valpe said, all miners with scrypt-jane (chacha) should work.
For Amds gpus there is sgminer, yacminer and a version of cgminer 3.7.2 patched to scrypt jane, you will need to test which one works best for you.
For now Nvidia gpus seems to do better in jane.
I believe tha xmr-stack doesn't support jane, so you can't mine UTC with it.

Edit.: AMD:
Cgminer: https://github.com/nicehash/cgminer-3.7.2-scrypt-jane
Sgminer(scrypt jane should be implemented on it): https://github.com/genesismining/sgminer-gm
Yacminer: https://github.com/Thirtybird/YACMiner

Hi

Staking is working.  I have one of my wallet double weight and it's says 30 s but that is not accurate.

Here  http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/UTC/index.php you can see that staking is working.
You will get yours when is your time.

At this time restart  pc and reopen wallet.

"UltraCoin WAVES Token

Recently - The UltraCoin Community was issued a token (UltraCoin Asset ID DxG3PLganyNzajHGzvWLjc4P3T2CpkBGxY4J9eJAAUPw) on the WAVES platform by members of the WAVES Community as a promotion and demonstration of the synergies possible between different Cryptocurrencies.  This token was distributed to UltraCoin Community members based on current UltraCoin holdings and support for UltraCoin irrespective of their current UltraCoin holdings - on a voluntary basis.  This was not an official UltraCoin project but it now presents UltraCoin with some new opportunities.

First - we can consider the UltraCoin WAVES token as an ''extension" of Ultracoin itself.  The UltraCoin Token will be tradeable on the WAVES decentralised exchange (DEX) in the future and convertible to BTC, other cryptos/assets/tokens and convertible to FIAT currencies through WAVES gateways.

- WAVES has provided wallets in Win/Apple/iOS/Android for this token - allowing the UltraCoin Community members a wide range of use and development options.

The UltraCoin WAVES token can be stored on the WAVES Lite Client - available here.  https://wavesplatform.com

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/wavesliteapp/kfmcaklajknfekomaflnhkjjkcjabogm

Android - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wavesplatform.wallet

Github - https://github.com/wavesplatform/WavesGUI/releases

The UltraCoin WAVES tokens are now traded DIRECTLY on the WAVES DEX (decentralised) exchange against many other digital currencies including BTC WAVES etc - trading is done directly from your own WAVES wallet.  Its a very impressive technology.

- The Waves platform will also release "multigateway'' templates in Scala allowing direct conversions of UTC to UTC Tokens - and back to UTC - further adding seamless utility to this UltraCoin extension provided by the token.
- The UltraCoin WAVES token may also be listed on Cryptopia allowing many, simple and diverse trading opportunities in the near future.

The WAVES issuer of these tokens (Team @Cripto) will also issue Tokens as REWARDS to any UltraCoin Community Member who contributes to the UltraCoin Development Fund.  They have stated that they will issue rewards at the rate of 1,000,000 UltraCoin tokens minimum per 1 BTC contribution until the reserve runs out - and this system has already been used by one member.  (Contact usukan or Rapture333 if you wish to make any contributions).

Further to this Team @Cripto has made a generous gift of UltraCoin WAVES tokens to the Official UltraCoin WAVES wallet to fund future development of UltraCoin.  Additionally two community members have also made very significant contributions to this same fund.  In the future we hope to be able to use this fund for specific UltraCoin development projects.

This is an experiment in the making using cutting edge crypto functionalities - we have no idea how it will evolve - but follow the progress - only on UltraCoin.
No other Crypto currency currently has a token like this - as an extension on another blockchain."

On which exchanges will tokens be traded?

were these UTC tokens automatically distributed to all UTC coin holders?

Team @Cripto has advised the following

Cheers - usukan

Quote
Quote
Stage - 2 (open mid January 2017)

UltraCoin tokens will be further distributed based 1:1 on your UltraCoin holdings as at a certain date (snapshot) at some random time on 15 Jan 2017.

Top 100 addresses only sorry, we have better things to do than 1,000's of transactions.

Proof of UltraCoin address ownership will be via claiming your address on Presstabs block explorer on the RichList page (enter first 10 characters of your WAVES address at the Richlist "claim"). Presstab has instructions on how to do this when you "claim" an UltraCoin address. http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/UTC/richlist.php

(We note that a few UTC holders have already completed this step)

Because the PressTab explorer "claim" field cannot hold a full WAVES address (35 characters) - we must introduce another step in the process to ensure proof of ownership of UTC/WAVES addresses - and insure your privacy and security.  If a full address could be entered in the PressTab claim field all would have been very very simple.

The full process to follow to claim is as follows

1.   Claim your UTC address on PressTabs explorer http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/UTC/richlist.php using only the first 10 characters of the address (this must be done before the 15th Jan 2017)

Wait until 16 Jan 2017.  A snapshot of the top 100 UltraCoin accounts will be taken by Team @Cripto on the 15th Jan and any distributions will be based on this alone.

2.   Send 0.001 Waves to our WAVES Token wallet - 3P9Y1oPLfEnjTgPrNAPq5KLnqgBzukjCxEZ (after the 15th Jan), FROM THE WAVES WALLET that you entered the first 10 characters in the UTC block explorer claim field.

This allows us to match your UTC claim address and calculate your UTC Token distribution amount - and proves your ownership of both the UTC address and the WAVES address.  This is all achieved with total anonymity, privacy and security. It also prevents the need for any discussions on the BTC thread which might upset the mods.

We will refund your 0.001 Waves and also refund your 0.001 fee for the transaction.  So we will send you 0.002 WAVES and the UTC token amount that matches your holding of real UltraCoins 1:1 based on PressTabs records.

If you hold multiple UTC addresses in the TOP 100 list you can use the same WAVES address for all your UTC addresses that you claim. You don't have to if you dont want to, but it will save time and transactions for all.

As always with Team @Cripto

This distribution is designed purely to demonstrate possible synergies within the crypto space and squarely to benefit UltraCoin and its supporters
After this its up to you and the UTC community to do whatever you wish with them. UltraCoin is the only Alt coin with a corresponding and distributed WAVES Token.  This is an opportunity.
No correspondence will be entered into and participation is completely up to you
We do not provide any technical support. Its up to you to sort it out, if you want to participate (the process has been checked and it works)
Its FREE
No strings attached
Its your decision to participate or not

and to avoid any potential confusion...........

The future path of Ultracoin, as we are planning to deliver, has no connection to the WAVES platform and these tokens.  They were a one-off distribution by a WAVES member to be used as we may wish for the betterment of Ultracoin.

The future of Ultracoin is being designed to be far grander than that.

Cheers - usukan
