it's true that you need 8 giga for every 3 tera, to mine, when i run the run_mine.bat my mem rise to 6.2-7gb

Are you not generating at the same time? That seems high?

It was my understanding you needed a fast machine with lots of memory to generate but once generation is complete any computer can mine?

that was my thought also, but it seems different, i'm not plotting and my mem is at 6.40 with 2 tb filled

also when mining  i getting

Submitting share
{"result":"Passphrase does not match reward recipient"}
{"baseTarget":"8530500","height":"9637","generationSignature":

what does Passphrase does not match reward recipient mean ... my wallet and passphase are the same ?

if you want to pool mining, just delete your passphrase.txt , i've seen so many user submiting their secret passphrase to pool, you are lucky i am not thief...

Hmm interesting - We shall have to quizz the dev on this one!  I'm at 2TB plotted so far and mining concurrently and am at around 5GB used of 8GB. Will keep an eye on it. Dev might need to make some adjustments - or us if it is a fault on our side.

What does it mean when my plots overlap? i just did the test here:https://bchain.info/BURST/tools/overlap and it says they overlap.

i removed my order of 12tb, until this thing is sorted out, i don't want to buy tons of ram just for this

i'm using the unofficial pool miner, maybe is this the problem? it sucks a lot of ram? i noticed that it sucks ram when the share are submitted

Yep something is defintely off here. I'll be seriously pissed off If I cant use my second 4TB drive that I bought last week. All bought on the belief that once the generating was done I could have it mining on any machine - was going to just use a little Rasberry pi Sad

Depends on how many nonces are overlapping. If its just a few, ignore it and continue mining. Otherwise look which plot files are overlapping and delete them - and create new ones that are not overlapping.

Good and bad ? That should make huge farm more difficult to set up or maybe its just miner program issue

It's like 1/4 of total plot Sad how can you tell which ones are overlapping? it just says plot this and that are overlapping by this many ounces

Actually it's half of  my plot, i have 2 hdds and i didn't think twice about how to plot them so i just copied the same files and started plotting, i realise this is where i went wrong, how should i go about doing it when i want to plot 2hdds?

Hi,Dev.

Today is the first day of the Scrypt pools online.Time of less than 15 hours. Pools count force 188MH, has found 10 blocks.

So just need 2000MH operator can cover all the force. 28MH ZEUS miner Machine just need 165$.4TB HDD 150$,but HDD Produce high profits without him.

Efforts to balance the hard drive will be easily broken.

I suggest that the developers update burstcoin system that allows the hard drive to obtain greater force count, less capacity.

I'm sorry, the above is to use Google translation.

Scrypt kill this coin.

Burst mining calculator
Height   9662
Coins per block   10000
Basetarget     4522561
Total size of plots     10TB HDD      150$*2.5=375$
Your results:
Coins per hour   353
Coins per day   8473
Coins per month   254191
Estimated network size   4249 TB

28MH Scrypt can find 7500 Coins per day

We only have one way to go, replacement hash algorithm, or enhance the difficulty of CPU write data. Difficulty increased 100-fold, 100-fold reduction in write data. Such force is to enhance the operator HDD 100 times, enough to fight the current mining machine. Although written a long time, but the value of the HDD higher.

I'm sorry, the above is to use Google translation.

Hmmm... Weird.

I'm mining three drives with 8tb (3 separete miners) and at the same time generate a plot of 500gb. I've 6gb of ram, and 70% of that is used. I use Win7 Ultimate on a 120gb SSD. I also have a 12gb pagefile.sys.

On a linux box I can mine and generate with only 3gb ram.

On a third one, though, I've Win7 Ultimate with 16gb ram. I've two miners and one plot generation. That one uses 85% ram.

Hard to see any consistency here, more than linux likely is prefered.

the best coin give you 0.016 with 28M and a consumption of 920w, and those 0.016 first buy the equal amount of burst, then if you dump you are just returning the price to his initial state
