For the people who are confused: V2 Pool allows you to mine with your solo plots. You do NOT have to regenerate plots if you have solo plots. v1 pool users can keep mining without doing anything. the v1 -> v2 migration for v1 pool users will be transparent to them, and not require them to do anything.

PEOPLE USING V1 POOL DON'T NEED TO DO ANYTHING!

Are you planning on releasing the source for the v2 mining pool backend, so others can run pools? I'd hate to wind up in a situation where one pool has a majority of the hashrate.

we don't use a passphrase file anymore?  I've put everything on the e:\ so I've only had one passphrase file since day 1. 

If you are using pool v2,you must move or delete passphrases.txt file from pool v2 folder.

When the pool finds a block you will get coins added to your balance. When your balance gets over 500 they will be sent to you.

how reward system is working on pool v2? is 0.00125% good or bad?

It seems that I divided by 100 instead of multiplying for the percent. You get 12.5% of the block reward, which is good.

Ok im regenerating plots for  my original account number which has been added to the reroute setup.  However when I run the mine file it just says unable to get mining info from wallet

That can be caused either by not having your own wallet running(which is fine and you can ignore it), or by it not being able to access the pool, in which case you should check the ip in your bat file.

5. At the bottom fill in your passphrase, and put BURST-8NZ9-X6AX-72BK-2KFM2 as recipient and submit. This will have a fee of 1
6. After 4 confirms, your generate address will show up in http://178.62.39.204:8121/users
7. run mine.bat

hi,burstcoin, i use the softlink to link the different plots together before and with solo miner , it works fine, and if i use the pool miner, can it still work with softlink?

Step 5 - "fill in your pass phrase".  Is that the 12 word phrase from the solo mining wallet or the password I make up?  Where do I put in the long line of numbers that ties it to my account?  I don't see how it gets it otherwise.

And yes my wallet is running.  Can't get to the localhost site without the wallet being open.

The string of numbers is derived from the password so it doesn't need that provided also. One password is one account, so not sure why you have 2.

No, something is wrong, most likely with your mine.bat file

Can I generate a bunch of let's say 10GB plots on one machine and move some of them to other machines and mine like that? This was probably answered but this thread is massive.

If i generate in linux 3 TB and move the plots in windows 3 TB it is ok ? i will mine with both 6 TB without making the plots again ?

The message is occasional. So I guess its because I am not running the wallet locally.

this is no the problem, i think,..this is because your deadline is too large and will not consider a share, if your deadline is low , then will submit a share

That's fine. It only submits shares if they are under the deadline. If you don't have a large amount of space used you won't get valid shares every block.

If it is every 3 seconds, it's trying to poll a local wallet, which is unnecessary if pool mining. As long as the pool messages are showing up, that's fine.

Is this right, that it seems to submit once per block (7065, 7066, etc), and then it'll say no valid shares to submit to pool, then it just sits there until the next block comes around?  Is it submitting valid shares in the meantime but not telling us?  My Task Manager shows the CPU right around 25%, sustained.

How do I know it is going to credit my shares to my correct wallet?  How can I check this?  My 1.0.3 wallet has the different BURST address that isn't in this new v2 pool and miner anywhere.

so I just renamed the passphrase file, cant check it until it submits a share.  The v2 pool only needs the account number not a passphrase?
