java -cp pocminer_pool.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer_pool.POCMiner mine http://127.0.0.1:8125 http://178.62.39.204:8121
This right settings for V2 pool?
My old id (from V1 pool) is don't change and working?
If you are mining on v1 pool, you don't need to do anything; you will be automatically transferred into v2 pool in time.
thx, i understund

I'm still generating plots (several plot files, each of size 1933 GB)), and I'm also already solo mining (already for approximately 24h), but still haven't found any block, here is my latest output from poc_miner:

What are these "Error reading file:", are these errors present because of plots still being generated?

Currently I have almost 40 TB of plot files ... is there something wrong with my setup/mining, shouldn't I already find some block? Is there any option withing the BURST client to actually verify if it is accepting shares?

You are getting the error because the files are in use. The dev stated in the first pages that you can keep generating plots and mine at the same time. The error would appear but it will be ok.
Also, I can confirm that the miner works just fine.

Still waiting for more user friendly wallet and miner

It will come. Our dev has been very active. He just finished the v2 pool. Give him time.

As these things come out, the price will steadily rise. This is good for the longevity of the coin.

In the meantime, we should be trying to be added on other exchanges.

Code:
Error: Unable to get mining info from wallet

I keep getting this when mining on v2 pool

I keep getting it too. I thought I just had to wait for more confirmations of my pool recipient setting but got this error even after 9 confirmations.

I think it might be a conflict with some other pocminer (not pocminer_pool) files in the same folder, as I moved pocminer_pool to the folder with my plot in it, not the other way around. Can anyone confirm this? My passphrases.txt has been renamed, so it's not that.

EDIT: Whoops, it was due to typo (c/p) error in my batch file. Everything running smoothly now.

Hi HDD Miners,

is it better to mine on a 16TB raid0 (4x4GB) then on each of them (plots from a to b, b+1 to c, c+1 to d)?

Thanks :-)

I think this is not a good idea. We risk a big dump. Wait the multipool is ready and much people ar involved in to Burst before asking cryptsy o bittrex to quote our coin!!!

I agree with this 100%

Crypsty is known to dump to oblivion, I suspect there are still a good amount of big bag holders just waiting to dump on a high volume exchange already.

Can you guys help me ask around for multipool? Over 500 views on the thread, and not a single hit!

dcct, can you please elaborate why is this faster? What kind of disk stress is present during mining? Also, are you suggesting one should use 4x pocminers, instead of only miner?

i recived every 10min some burst but since 2h nothing??
on the pool site (http://178.62.39.204:8121/shares) my shares go up but on balance (http://178.62.39.204:8121/balance) is 0 ??

yes , it is working, balance is 0 may be it just paid you(send your burst in the pool to your wallet), and the balance will be set 0 to the next mining, you can check your wallet to see wether you receive the burst Grin

Its faster to use each HDD on its own

Also, it would be nice to get some performance tips for mining (NOT generating plots, there are lot's of tips regarding generating plots already present in this thread) ... are there any factors, that affect mining performance, besides the total storage space in the plots?

Does it matter if pocminer runs on a slow or fast computer?

Does it matter if pocminer runs on a computer with fast (latency & bandwidth wise) access to disks (like directly attached storage VS. USB storage, etc.)?
