A newbie question, how exactly do I change the passphrase on my wallet? From the NXT wiki ( http://nxtcoin.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ), which also applies to burst: I've just realized I should have chosen a better password/passphrase. Can I change it?
You cannot change your account passphrase in Nxt, because it is actually used to generate your account number. More accurately, for those of you who know a bit about public-key cryptography: your passphrase is the private key for your account, and your account number is your public key.
If you would like to use a different passphrase, just create a new Nxt account using whatever passphrase you'd like. Once you've done that, use your Nxt client to send your Nxt coins to yourself – from your old account number to your new one. The transaction fee can be set to 1 coin, so it won't cost you much to make the change.

Hi everyone, it looks like I will need some BURST in order to join the pool. Are there any faucets right now? If not, is anyone willing to send some BURST to me at BURST-DW86-Z2HJ-XK5G-FXFUW so I can join the pool?
Thanks! =)

I did an experiment over the last 24 hours trying out the V2 Pool.
Of course luck and randomness come into play but for what it's worth here's my 24 hours in the pool:
24 hours exactly in the V2 pool Using 12TB plotted Received 11k Burst from the pool Found 3 of the blocks in the pool during those 24 hours
So in my random 24 hour instance I got 11k burst in the pool but could have gotten 30k solo using 12TB of plots. Now mind you, The prior 24 hours before this experiment I solo mined and only got one block in that prior 24 hours, so your mileage may vary.....

A very successful day. Beware sharp rises though, they almost always come with steep drops. So be ready with buy orders!
Anyway, getting back to business. Can i have some help contacting multipool devs? Im sure almost everyone mining BURST will be more than happy to GPU mine on a multipool to up the value of BURST.

Setting up and running a multipool is pretty difficult. Especially the running it part. Have you considered talking to coinking.io to see if burst could be added as a payout option?

yeah same here but with 5 TB, usually 1block/day, or 3-4blocks/ days if luck. point to pool only get 5-6k/day, not worth., also pool must more transparent on block found, share per block....

How is it that solo mining gets you 30K per day, but pooled mining is only 5k to 6k with the same amount of hard drive space? Seems wrong.

Oh wow I'm glad I found this thread This is groundbreaking stuff, if I'm not mistaken, Microsoft was also working on similar technology with Permacoin. Not sure where that's at. I'm completely new at this but would love to try my hand at mining this coin. I would much appreciate it if anyone could point me to a noob guide, wiki or post explaining how I would go about doing that. Thanks guys!

The XCloudcoin Cloud HD Hashing multi pool will be released very soon to all XCloudcoin holders and public. This will offer support for XCloudcoin and it's subsequent investors giving us a solid foundation. This is the first step of cloud mining integration with crypto currency and is an important stepping stone in our development. We are choosing BURST to mine on the multi pool. We have looked at the development of the coin and we are happy with the technological development of this coin and the properties to help our investors. XCloud storage will also be integrated into the mining platform. Soon to be released will be the worlds first Cloud HD hashing pool with integrated storage this will be a huge and innovative step for XCloudcoin, we are currently testing our storage performance and capacity of the service at 80 Terabytes we are seeing positive signs with our tests for profitability and efficiency. We are very excited about this development. With this service we aim to give back to investors with an enhanced profit sharing system. Revenue will be distributed from the multi pool to XCloudcoin holders. The pool has already been setup for one of our private investors and you can currently see the wallet amount here http://burst.cryptoport.io/acc/6777939135823731909I just found this in the XCloud Tread. That sounds like a higher-Diff and BURST dumping.
