Cannot access to http://poolinfo.coinmagi.org/. My Bitdefender Antivirus Free Edition blocked it, "Malware detected!
Access to this page has been blocked.". I think you should investigate this issue, maybe you did not use any malware code, but bear in mind that the piece of code is bad to be used.

That is the wrong message from Bitdefender. It ought to say something like "Malicious Website". There is no malware whatsoever on that web page nor are there any software download links - it is mostly a display page with links to other web sites. Bitdefender is a very good anti-malware solution (Emsisoft is even better, being based on the Bitdefender engine) but it is way too aggressive on default settings. The actual problem in this case is that the web page contains a link to bitcointalk.org (i.e. this forum) which is on their URL blacklist. You can remove URLs from the Bitdefender local blacklist manually.

There is a general issue with anti-malware software and cryptocoin mining and they can seldom live under the same roof together. For example, Avast (free or paid version) will interfere with the miner and slow it right down if you do not switch it off.

A month ago, Google Chrome would prevent downloading of my new Windows miner. Now it just gives a warning but lets you download it upon instruction. That's progress.

Thanks for your clarify, so it is a bitcointalk.org link being blacklisted?! I will check how to remove it.

Yes, anti-virus is annoying in cryptocoin miner, alot of miner show virus alert.

I have just put together a new mining rig. We are talking AMD 9590.
can you send me your hash non overclocked 9590 when you have time.

Here we are:-

Asus Sabretooth 990FX R2.0 mobo with all defaults selected gives a true CPU clock speed of 4715.8 MHz (CPU multiplier 23.5) which generates average 110.3 Kh/s with the XMG miner under Windows 8.1

Same system but CPU multiplier raised to 25.0 gives a true CPU clock speed of 5016.9 MHz which generates average 117.4 Kh/s.

Minerd setup: Single instance, 8 threads, --benchmark, all non-essential Windows services stopped and no other processes running.

It is worth noting that the cooler used with this CPU is a Corsair H110 and that at these speeds, CPU core temperatures remain nicely under control even on stock voltages. The voltages can be dropped a fair bit to reduce energy consumption.

Edit: Amazon have informed me that my network card will be delivered in a few hours. Whoop whoop! Hold onto your hats.

All except Magipool which don't want to send my confirmation email. I can't mine with Spexx's miner.

And no firewall on your end that blocks the connection?

If you are using my full software package, run the Setup.bat and select "Run tests and demos" from the drop-down menu. Select the first option from the next menu and click "Ok". That will connect to any/all of the pools using my user credentials. If the test fails to work and you still get "stratum connection failed" messages, then the problem must be with your network connection.

What I suspect is that you have a mis-match between user/worker names entered on the pool(s) and the details you provided to the Setup.bat program.

Edit: If you are new to pool mining, then you may have missed the point of having to define a worker name and worker password for your user account before you can start mining on the pool.

Thank You spexx, 9590 is beast. Can i ask you a question about h110 i bougth one month ago(my first aio wc i did only custom loops till then) and i have problem with mine when i hold h110 in hand i dont hear any noise
but when i screw it on 2 different cases (arc2 midi and air 540) it gives that similar to old hdd reading vibration noise even when i damp it with rubber between rad and case i changed black corsair vents to 140mm silent 1000 rpm ones but noise is still there so it must be vibration from pump itself do you have same problem, is that normal should i return it back?

Magi already on same spot as Unobtanium.
If you did not vote there yet give your vote for Magi.
Would be nice if Magi received little more votes there.
Also you can vote for Magi on Cryptsy!

Looks like due to settings somewhere, be sure to have a careful review in the settings.
