On a separate note, Joe also deserves some kind of reward, working on pretty much everything else XMG related I'm a lazy ass low class user interface programmer, so I'll kindly ask all three of you to post your XMG addresses again, because the 90 second search limit on this thread is killing me - and I'll send over a bit of what I've mined so far I'm willing to bet I'm not the only one grateful for all the great work you're doing either Anyway, keep it up! You are a GPU or ASIC miner? You would like to mine Magi but can't use your GPU or ASIC? No problem, check out the Magi multipool. Backed by 3 established multipools, you're mining altcoins and the provider will buy XMG on the market with your BTC earnings. This way you can support Magi as there will be a higher demand on exchanges (Bittrex and Poloniex) which will help increasing the price.

Does the difficulty that my worker is working on affect the rewards?

Does the difficulty that my worker is working on affect the rewards?
No. Higher worker difficulty means your miner submits less shares with higher weight. Lower diffculty means the opposite and causes more server load on the pool.

No. Higher worker difficulty means your miner submits less shares with higher weight. Lower diffculty means the opposite and causes more server load on the pool. Does that means i get less shares in per block of reward and that reduces the xmg i get per day?

Does that means i get less shares in per block of reward? No. It's explained on these sites: https://www.wemineltc.com/vardiff and http://give-me-coins.com/support/faq/what-is-vardiff/Very simple example: You can pay $100 with a $100 banknote (which has a higher value/weight) or with 2 $50 banknotes (same total value but lower value/weight per banknote). The amount per day depends on the network difficulty which is something different than your workers difficulty.

Optimized miner [V2]:https://github.com/magi-project/wolf-m7m-cpuminer-V2Credits should go to Wolf0. This optimization is done based on his optimized miner https://github.com/wolf9466/wolf-m7m-cpuminer, by further abstraction of the gmp computation according to his prior work, as well as a few other improvements have been carried out. Anyone who can achieve further optimization and boost the speed, please release the code accordingly. The above miner is slightly different from that on which prior windows compilation is based; so the speed might be different (not much expected). I will get another set of compilation for Windows. The following is the miner with "-e" option in order to adjust CPU usage. https://github.com/magi-project/m-cpuminer-legacy-v2minerdlegacy -o stratum+tcp://pool_url:pool_port -u pool_user.worker -p password -t thread_numbers -e cpu_efficiency Is that normal for i7 4770 to run at the speed of 82kh/s ?? thanks~

Volume is low as - many people keep their coins in the wallet (PoS) and don't sell them - Magi doesn't get the exposure it deserves, means not many buyers that could increase the price As Magi doesn't have an expensive marketing (currently 111magic and myself do most of the marketing), we need the community to spread the word. With the launch of MagiPay we are able to get acceptance from merchants. With more places to spend XMG, there will automatically be more demand which also will increase the price and volume.

hope with all the improved speed, people remember that higher hashrate doesn't mean more XMG but lesser Actually, I believe it only means less XMG up to a certain point. After that, the block reward stays the same, AFAIK, so it's like a normal coin as long as the hash stays high. It'll continue to drop with higher hashrate, until get to mining-fee, the minimum (I missed an update of latest info to the OP). The following image shows how it changes with network difficulty (Notice the lines nearly touching the bottom).

Im using a amd 8350 liquid cooled and doing about 65 kh with wolf-m7m-cpuminer-x64-0122-corei7 is this the same program then the v2 or is the v2 even newer?
v2 is nearly the same as the one you're using (won't be much different). I'll be compiling it in following days, or Spexx may do that too. Keep an eye on the OP. Right now there is no windows miners compiled yet. The easy way is under linux, compiling pretty same as the original miner except running with -e option (omitting -e option will be exactly same as the another V2 miner)

Someone having i7 may tell that; what's the original speed? 4770k overclocked to 4.4 , t 8 (8 threads) is hashing max 115 at 94 watts t 6 (6 threads) is about your speed with joelao95s v2 i7 wolf0 miner at 3.9 is 10, 15 khash less if you not using cpu for something else than it would be even more lower hope that helps goldlabel try joelaos v2 generic is good with amd visheras, 8320 oced to 4,5 to 4,8 is hashing at 100+ khashs

Guys, probably you'd better to run the miner at full speed; we got reasonably "good" payout in the past two days. http://xmg.makejar.com/xmg-per-day/Date Total Coins Generated POW POS Total Blocks POW Blocks POS Block 27.01.2015 5 212.14023786 XMG 5 199.21421990 XMG 12.92601796 XMG 1409 441 968 26.01.2015 5 104.13173231 XMG 5 090.20809468 XMG 13.92363763 XMG 1408 444 964 To mention, because of the dynamic change of block reward and thus the quit of some miners (we did see some big miners have gone), constant mining will pay you out the best in my view, that's basically what the title meant "proof of mining", think about it.
