Notice some competition is trying to lower the price of Magi. Be aware of that! While Magi is growing more competion will try or even pay to do things like that.

The only way they can "pay" to do that is to sell a shed load of XMG they have been holding, which they either paid for or mined earlier.

Cool. Maybe I should "find" some "spare" BTC and put in a low offer for a shed load of XMG. Let them dump on me. The only result will be them handing over some cheap XMG to me. Thanks very much. Longer-term XMG price will recover whatever they do. Now let's see ... total XMG market cap is about 2,000,000 XMG at about 0.00002500 BTC per XMG = 50 BTC. Is that all? Ok, I'm in. Time to grab some more cheap XMG. Take it out of circulation.

hey guys I think I have a little problem.. block explorer say +-2388.29 XMG.. but my wallet say 656.97 XMG
I keep the wallet.dat erase averything else.. and recync the blockchaine... after resync was done I got a couple XMG not showing... :/

9R586AkX7DmfndaW83ma9RZzyVS9d9J7zr      853.12016025 XMG
98UvcC1qUcXFPTESQ7g6qa1FqX1DcxXToH   5.52896991 XMG
9C9tWGuKamsRuLj4mWtjGaNj2HZnxfKepY         1 529.65605803 XMG

Not good. If it is on the blockchain then the wallet should pick it up - all of it. I frequently use backed-up wallet.dat files and re-sync blockchain, or even use a backed-up blockchain. Never had a problem - just as long as the wallet.dat file is safe then there is always a way.

What version of the wallet are you using? Latest is here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.0 on  the OP.

Edit. This is not just a case of some coins being in stake? The amount in stake would be deducted from the wallet balance.

Just a thought. The copy of wallet.dat that you are using is fully up to date right? You are not using an old copy that might not have subsequent changes included, such as creating a new incoming address after the wallet.dat copy was taken?

Excellent. I was going to suggest something like that for Windows. Never had to do that myself.

if your pc is clean inside (no dust) its not a problem, only it will be hard to use the pc when its mining unless its a 2nd pc and you are not using it to work or game.

Thank you for your answer! My pc is brand new, so dust is not a problem. I'm currently mining and gaming and everything runs smoothly. I get 150 KH/S. Any ideas? Is everything ok?

150 Kh/s ? Yeah that is just fine mate Cheesy

What CPU chip precisely is that? It is a lot faster than my AMD 9590 overclocked to 4916 MHz.

I have an i5 4590. AMD sucks dude Smiley Thanks for the help!

How da heck do you get this hash with that CPU?  Roll Eyes Huh

PassMark score:
Intel Core i5-4590 @ 3.30GHz - 7241 ~150kh/s ?
AMD FX-8320 Eight-Core - 8063 ~80kh/s

When I mine with my CPU I can do everything without any problem, but the hashrate goes slower.

Here's my video for Coin Magi : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEAlIAPoAZ4. It's in French but partially-translated to English. I'll finish to translate it until I have time to do so, probably tomorrow.
Thanks Erkallys! Will watch the video and try learning French! Wink

It isn't translated exactly, but sometimes it is. This is for the better understanding of the video. Like this, you don't have my "heuuuuuu........" which I said when I was looking for something. You don't have my errors too. But if you want, I can do a special version translated exactly like in the video.

I think its ok. We could wait what the community thinks. If they like it the way it is or they would like it better with full translation.

The French is the French. Some sentences cannot be translated. It needs to adapted. It's why I changed a bit. It's a lot better, but it's near impossible to learn French, whit it.
