Been mining this on my RPi2, love it! It is a hell of a lot of fun when you mine XMG with your Raspberry Pis. I have four of them and can't stop mining and staking XMG. Also, I use the computers at college for this task. It is so great to mine XMG while doing my homework.  |

But, I guess this is telling me to buy more XMG and stake them. After some time leaving my PC on with the wallet open, I have finally received my first stake....This is so cool.  |

Who stakes here Magi? Can you please tell me some hints how to setup a wallet for best staking results? (I have approx. 2000 XMG to stake) Mozsi I do stake. But I didn't do anything about the wallet. We have some smart guys in the community who can help you. I hope they can give me some good advice. Like staking address coins size and stuff like this. Maybe a good .conf setup or who knows Currently I am experimenting with 250 coins but they don't seem like they would stake for me. Like 20 days without anything. Before that with 100 coins I made my wallet stake but 80% of them were rejected, orphaned. What I currently understand is that a staking address should consist 100 - 1000 coins for best results. Maybe I am wrong. Yes, I quit mining Magi, but it is so damn cheap right now (compared to BTC). Buying Magi seems to be the best way right now to make more for yourself. I get the best results in staking usually by having single blocks of 2000 which stake once a day. If you have a total of 2000 xmg then you could just send them all back to yourself so they are all in one block, this will then stake by the next day and the blocks will be cut in half (2 blocks of 1000 each) you then combine those two blocks with coin control and send them back to yourself again and they will stake again the next day, rinse and repeat this daily. The key is the block size rather than the amount of coins. Example: 2000 xmg in 2000 x 1 xmg blocks will likely never stake due to the network difficulty and will result in a wallet full of orphans. I've found that blocks of 1000-3000 will stake daily and I just get into a routine of sending them right back as soon as they stake - this ensures that all of my coins stake every day without any orphans at all. I have been looking all over to make a paper wallet but until now I have been making them with the public and private keys from the wallet itself. Now my life could be much easier with this paper wallet generator. It is pretty cool. All I am doing right now is mining Magi and storing them directly to the paper wallet. |

Computer made smoke and flame about a year ago (cheap MB and power supply) mining Magi and it has taken a long time but I'M BACK BABY Computer rebuilt switched from win7 to Ubuntu 15.10 MATE got the wallet up and a backup .dat file BAM! even got a miner working. was a long road but back into the mines I go, it is an honor to help keep this coin going again. |
