what about poloniex. Why price is still 3k , what you are doing wrong , mavbe you need good manager like krypton , who did price from 2k till 30k
Magi likes to grow step by step. No rush but long-term.
If a currency raises fast the risk might be a huge drop.
Think it would be good for Magi to have more managers.
In fact everybody in our awesome Magi community is a sort of manager. If more people work together the better the results.

That is what makes a cryptocurrency successful. Working together as a community to help the coin grow and remain for the long term is an ideal step towards making it a success. Magi has been doing great during the last days with a steady price. Hope to see the Proof of Interest Campaign become a reality real soon!  Cheesy

I have a question : I have my Magi wallet on my Rapsberry Pi, but since I'm not using it and it did not get turned on for at least six months, I'd like to transfer my XMG to my mining rigs to be able to actively stake. Does anyone has an idea how I could achieve this ? Is there a wallet.dat on Linux, like on Windows ?
I didn't try running a wallet of a raspberry pi yet, but I assume you just need to run the qt take a backup and restore from another pc, or alternatively fire up the pi and transfer the coins to the other account. (Or is there something I'm missing =) )

What I want is to don't have to turn the Pi on, since I don't have anymore a keyboard and a mouse for it. What I want to know is if I can extract my wallet.dat from my microSD card and then transfer it to one of my mining rig.

I agree with you. I've never saw the coin stay at a  stable price for so long after somebody took the buy support out. That's a very good sign. Magi is holding up very well.

I suspect you will be okay so long as you didn't encrypt the drive. Try looking in /usr/<username>/.magi (or.Magi), and make a of the folder backup before attempting anything. I didn't run a linux wallet before - but that his where the files should be if I'm not mistaken. A standard USB computer keyboard and mouse should also work with the Pi if you are still struggling.

Forgot to mention, you may need a tool to read the Pi file system depending upon which version of windows you are using (and what is already installed) and which file system the Pi is running. One such tool is called ext2fsd. Didn't try it before as I always setup a samba share on my linux devices and copy files over the network.

Been looking in to this coin a bit... seams like a very stable coin and activate community..

My couple questions are is this coin worth holding and staking and if so what's about the min for it to stake every day or couple at most..

Also I see no updates in a while is the dev gone or this coin just that stable..

This thing of using tools to read files bother me. I think I'll simply take the WiFi key of my mining rig as well as its mouse and keyboard to get finally my XMG back in my hands.

Joe isn't gone. Staking is very low and no really giving a lot of money except if you're holding a large stake. It gives approximatively 2% of interest per year.

I looks like Joe didn't post since the start of the month. He's probably on vacation or something. 111magic is very active, so no need to be worried IMHO.

The coin is still CPU - the profits depend upon the number of people who are mining (total has rate). I've not been making much profits over the last month or two but did prior to that. For me, I think XMG will be worth more in the future so I continue to mine.

Looks like there is finally some volatility on the markets this evening. Big sell wall has been built at 3500 and some sell off down to 2600, lets see if the price rebounds or drops to the 2300 buy wall...

We did drop to around 2300 overnight, but rebounded to around 2700. The fact it was overnight is a interesting twist too, as most price movements I have observed have previously been in European hours. Looks like Magi is spreading!

Ok. In the mean time Magi has green light for the new Proof of Interest  campaign IV.  I will  post the rules and dates soon. Register will be open at Magi's second birthday! (15-sept'2016)

Sounds great. I've decided that anything I gain from POI4 will be used to add liquidity to Bittrex to help make the exchange a little smoother. Polo is doing nicely right now.

Based on what? Volume is very low. Pressure on the sell side. What is the catalyst for it to rise?
