Nice words all! I really appreciate that. Indeed there is a Android miner for Magi. I'am in the community since the launch of this awesome currency. Due to the awesome dev and community Magi keeps on growing. Sometimes slow & sometimes faster. The idea of Magi becoming a long-term currency is succesful. Despite the fact some updates cost more time i'am very happy with the community and proud to achieve page 700 on Bitcointalk. The future is Magi!
Indeed! Great to see that page 700 has arrived. Its great that Magi is growing slowly as opposed to other coins which grow quickly then disappear in just as quick a time. One of the best things about Magi is how positive the community is about the coin. There are virtually no FUD posts around that will probably change if Magi grows more and attracts a larger spectrum of the wider BTC community. I wonder when we will hit page 1400?

Nice tracking software, K1lo. OK, it is (maybe) not profitable to mine Magi, but time will tell. It's the only coin i am mining, and i mine them to hold and stake. I use the NeoNeonMiner for android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kangaderoo.neoneonminer&hl=enand for windows, m-cpuminer-qt works fine for me. Good luck. P.S. 700 Pages! I wonder how many coins made it that far... Have you checked that software for viruses I am getting a warning on my phone gonna do scans now to make sure.. I am guessing it is a false positive

I am guessing it is a false positive I used it a while back without too much trouble (no hint of viruses then) - but wasn't pulling enough hash rate on my andriod for it to make any difference to my CPU nodes (and phone kept running out of battery even when on charge) so stopped mining with it in the end.

No problem with the Android miner that i can find. I scanned with avg and malware bytes, no problems. I think the Android store checks their stuff maybe. I got an 8-core tablet, and don't have anything on it that requires security, so i don't worry about it too much. Mining Magi and staking at same time is fun for me. I just keep it plugged in all the time, don't worry about the electricity, and hope the battery does not explode. Also: Mining on 4 threads out of 8, not trying to kill it.

Will Magi drop back to 2000 Sat / 3000sat? Would be nice for new people who like to purchase some more.

I'm wondering the same thing - looks like there is a slow consolidation in the price right now. Personally, I think it may drop another 500-600 over the next week before another push skywards, but that's pure speculation. It would be nice to see the price come down a little more as it lets more people into the game, but I know there are people holding out for a 3k price. Lets see what happens next =)

If it goes around 100-200 , I'll buy all of them... Just checked my history - The cheapest price I bought Magi for was 1000 sat which was on 18th June this year, was a little worried if it was a good idea at the time, as the price was dropping and there was some negativity around the coin at the time. I feel pretty happy about it now =)

It would be nice to have a site to check our balance during the POI, like the one we had before... and just to check and make sure we are registered in the POI-IV also. And maybe some stats on number of people or number of coins in the campaign?
I was thinking that there are probably ways to cheat the POIs, like every else, but hopefully you can catch some of cheaters. I wonder how you can tell if an address is on an exchange, for example (don't worry mine's not). I'm just curious, I did not think crypto-coins were that easy to track down, lol To really prevent cheating you would have to require full proof of identity, which neucoin actually asked me for OMG lol.

I will look into this. But if i remember correct the wallet-address shows no transactions. I just could see it in the blockchain websites.

u dont need a proof of identity u need a prove of controll of the private key of the address such prove can be given by sign a message the magi wallet have the sign and verify feature same as bitcoin and this way u can prove address ownership u wont be able do this with a exchange address (if u not the exchange operator himself) and for sure u wont be able do this with a address u dont controll https://support.cex.io/hc/en-us/articles/203087316--Guide-How-to-do-a-Bitcoin-signature-to-verify-address-ownership

The markets have been a bit more turbulent today. I got a few trades in after a quiet few days.

Would you mind sharing with us how many XMG do you make using the Android miner? An eight core tablet will definitely give a lot of performance towards mining other coins, but in the case of Magi, the more hashrate you have the lower the reward. So, I'm always watching current XMG block reward in order to mine some XMG and benefit from this. Still, it would be pretty cool to try this on any Android tablet or even smartphone. I will give this a shot and see how much I could earn with my Nvidia Shield tablet.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I am probably only getting 1 or 2 coins a day with android, it is hard to estimate. But I don't really care, mining is way better than clicking at faucets all day. My windows miner gets about 3 to 10 times the hashrate mining on only 2 threads out of 8. With so many variables, it's not worth calculating. I could crank it up but i need the computer to do many other things.
The info from cryptonit was interesting, i did not realize how signing a transaction works. This could be useful in proving ownership of an address. But i like crypto-coins to be as anonymous as possible.
111magic, i think we can trust most people here to be honest. But there is nothing to prevent someone from having multiple accounts on bitcointalk, is there? Maybe you can check IP addresses, but then it is possible to have more than one IP address, especially if you have another computer at work. If people are going to cheat, I suppose they will find a way (sigh).
