when i mining solo, how i can see my total hashrate?

You can use the command:

setgenerate true

in console of the wallet

then use: getmininginfo

and see ur hashespersec

8.7K

well, is very rare, whe i mining on pool, my hashrate is about 180K (are 3 xeon) but.. mining solo.. is only 8.7K ??  Huh Huh

From my experience, that's just the wallet's internal miner's hashrate (enabled with "setgenerate true"). When mining with external software (the "normal" way), it doesn't show up in that info.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Newbie here.

Does anyone have an idea why my coins won't stake? I've tried moving them to various addresses and letting them re-weight themselves, but nothing happens. (The wallet is unlocked for staking, btw.)

Hmm... The longer reward adjustment period is kinda helping big farms and bots only mining this coin when rewards are high more. Prices are also taking a hit. really need to speed up adjustment period if no other new rules will be added to at least make it hard for them to catch up.

crypto interesting but too penalizing. Why lose money and profit because other big farms and bots are too greedy ...

it would be wise to set a maximum quota of hashpower worker / pool or .. but not network

There was the adjustment from fast swing in block rewards to utilizing moving average in order to get smooth variations with a cost of slow response; it was surely for solving the fast swing problem. That results in the current form. But I'd take cautions on guessing and wouldn't go a conclusion of one or another either.

i see. well the recent change in rules for pos and pow blocks i think have extended the response time. before the update it was much faster than what it is now. it gives the big hash guys time to jump in and out. at least thats what i think. too long is not so good but you are right too short is also bad.

anyone able to stake i havent been able to stake for a while and i have 600 weight now...

I agree, the big ones are back. So it must be profitable again.

This is one of few cryptonote coin left. If those guys with big mining farm come in now as we can see them doing recently, all the small miners are going to be sidestepped! How do we protect loyal CPU miners?

Good question. Thats very difficult. During this period Magi has a unique blockreward system what will drop the when huge miners join in. If the small miners wait for the big miners to leave the blockreward will go up.
Only reason why huge miner would stay if they have free power so they have profit with low blockreward. Other huge miners don't get enough coins to give them profits.
They will leave and mine other coins.

Setup fast switch between coins automatically ,when block value grow - switch to magi, become low - go other coins.  There is no real chance for small miners get a lot coins. Just deal with it.
If someone have 1 device and other have 100,  man who have 100 will get x100 time more profit.

I know, but doesn't help if there are still XMG in the chain, but no appearing in wallet of Yobit... can't trade them off, and not send them back as wallet is offline @yobit.
