Anyone having connection issues?

My wallet has been going out-of-sync a lot the past 12 hours or so. No named connections in magi.conf and "listen=1" is set.
But I'm only getting 2 to 3 connections.

Saying that my internet connection has been spotty this week. I've had to reboot my router and PC a few times the past couple of days.

Might just be issues at my end.

I'll keep an eye on it over the weekend, see if my internet connection and wallet settles down...

Staking is working fine for me - so all good at this end, hope things are working better for you now

Mine isn't great either - we live in the middle of nowhere and have to rely on a radio transmission - get 30Mbps when it works - but not so good in heavy rain or snow.

The orphan count seems pretty low right now - 82 orphaned blocks today, amount of magi generated seems okay, can't see any problem indicators so far - are you solo mining?

Negative on solo mining, but these are POS generated values. They are typically <0.009 magi and they do not lock up the staked amount like the valid POS generations do. Just found it odd as the unaccepted now account for 0.009 magi in my current wallet which I find a nuisance.

Now the market coin is generally the same, most COINS are cheap, all projects are facing the same problem, it does more harm than good without panic selling.

As long as everything does not go down further this maybe a good opportunity for everyone who wants to get into this.

Yeah - the lower the price gets - the more tempting it is for the whales - same I'm running low on liquidity right now, would be nice to keep stocked up - the bittrex 'remove orders after 28 days' rule doesn't help

Probably the whales are the reason why these low prices exist at all. They will breath some energy into the market again when they think the time is right.

The Bittrex exchange has lost its rating and does not affect the cryptocurrency market.
And whales are waiting for the right moment to fly to the moon.

Yes but even if the whales play there game elsewhere that will create a pull effect for other coins as well and cause at least some positive price development.

The reason why the coin wasn't delisted before was because the community rallied round and we got a lot of support

If it happens again in the future I can't say, volume and cap is certainly not great right now - I must admit

Seems to be a issue across a lot of alts at the minute, think the fact that Joe is super busy and 111magic is convalescing is not helping either.

The lowest I ever bought magi for on an exchange was 900 sat - after which it shot up again - could possibly happen again, I'm hoping for a turnaround =)

Somebody else mentioned about a few invalid coins yesterday - I'm staking fine, the chain seems to be moving and the number of orphaned blocks doesn't seem too high, wonder if its a wider problem or just unlucky. Are you solo mining?

This is a very good project, but why is the price of coins going very poorly, I have never seen such a low price before?

In fact, I think the price is low and falling because the whole market is now in a big decline, for a long time it has been going on and it is annoying for me too. But the important thing is that the work of the team is underway and the MAGI project is progressing. Maybe soon after all the price will turn up.

The whole crypto market has been very bad recent days, and MAGI has not stayed out of the commend down movements.
However, as we all experienced so many times in the crypto market, everything will be fine some days later.

Well ... I see Joe is off on all social media, including this forum. It doesn't look like he cares that much anymore and he also ignored all the suggestions that were given to him.
We are in H2 of 2018 and apart from fixing some small bugs here and there nothing major has been done and everything seems to be dead in the water.

So, in conclusion this is what we have now:
1. Joe (the one man team) is off
2. No updates from him before he disappeared
3. No Roadmap updates whatsoever
4. No other updates of any kind
5. 111 is also mostly off. Apparently he is sick or something.
6. Price dropping like a rock in the water

My honest expectation is that the coin will soon die, most probably at the moment Bittrex will remove it.

nope i'm not solo mining at all.

from the 1st of Aug. i have gotten 25 invalid generated coins transactions just from staking.

I've noticed that staking has slowed down the past few days from under a day to just over 2 days between stakes.

Orphans haver jumped up as well in the same time in the pool i'm in (50% orphans out of the last 10 blocks found).

Hope it's just a temp thing and nothing more sinister
