Bastion. Oh, fun, fun. Another person who thinks you can't handle branching algos well on GPU.

And worse yet, the claim of enhanced security is unsupportable, see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1074609.msg11489993#msg11489993

What I'm really trying to understand is why 5 rounds of BLAKE is perceived as better than 1. And why five? I can see that two might protect against a hallucinated length extension attack (a la SHA2-256) but the futility of five rounds of the same hash function seems painfully obvious.

Cheers

Graham

The following Blockchain Explorers (and Masternodes) as well as Addnodes info are active and running:

Simply by adding 4 masternodes, the total generated blocks/day increased from around 270 to 400-410, i.e. 40% more.

no pool work?

No pool to my knowledge, especially considering multiple algos. I bet some would come out very soon in one way or another.

I bet someone are solo-mining with x-13 algo. (See quotes around #550 above.)
I did succeed in solo Scrypt ASIC-mining, getting more complicated and not getting any advantage. I did not continue it.

I have been running several CPU-mining every night or some parts of daytime of comupter-non-working days, every day and night, since August 2014. Actually, I failed to set up CPU-mining on other cryptos (due to glitches and sometimes having to pay for the usage of the miner programs). Setting up CPU-mining for Joincoin is extremely easy.  Cheesy

I will maKe a little donation to one member who resolve my problem.

I have a problem with my config. My wallet is sync, but Miner doesn't mine.

See %appdata% config:

gen=0
server=0
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcuser=USER
rpcpassword=PASS
rpcallowip=10.1.1.*
rpcport=9150
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
algo=nist5

addnode=b2mgu5dvcw3m7cxw.onion:17941

Well, this is my miner conf:
   {
      "name" : "Joincoin",
      "url" : "127.0.0.1:9150",       try too: "url" : "http://127.0.0.1:9150",
      "user" : "USER",
      "pass" : "PASS"
   },

I tried with nist5, x11, x13, x15.... Nothing.

Miner says this message error:
"Pool slow/down or URL or credentials invalid."

Thanks a lot Joincoin members.
