Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Wow, I can hardly believe this list is 4-yr old and still being maintained.

Any way, glanced at your not-working list and saw Bitcoinker in there. It works now (there was a brief period where the captcha disappeared though).

The Classic BitHits v1 is no longer paying...

However! Our new and improved BitHits v2 Beta Faucet has been running for about a year and paying out steadily. Smiley

It is not paying out to Xapo. If it removes the option to get paid out that way ( or fixes it so it will pay out to Xapo ) I will re-add it.

you can get free bitcoin here:
http://u2cloudmining.winspiral.net

the problem is that you will not find it in many lists because the list owners get no referrer commission.
To get incomes from the list, the list owners have to be shareholders to get dividends.

not even a single site is registering my bitcoin wallet

What do you mean? You don't need to register a wallet.

You just need to input a bitcoin address( public key ) into the appropriate field on each faucet site and then use the captcha, or other anti-bot system, which most of the sites have, and then click the submit/claim button.

How do you generate your addresses? What wallet, or other service, do you use?

A bitcoin address looks like this: 1Figz2X9xwoicy9a1iYxU5wuvvjSDRWe8Z

Your address worked for me with a faucet I tried it on:
https://faucetbox.com/en/check/1KJBKJCoi5MBMoNyYvJ7RsLSPseGskrAyu

Sounds like your computer may be infected with some kind of malware which has taken over your browser and serves you pages you didn't intend on viewing.

It was removed because it wasn't paying out to Xapo accounts for a long time.

I will re-check it...

Or it might have been the reverse; only paying out to Xapo.
I don't remove faucets from the list for only being down a short while.

It was paying to Xapo, but the funds for the Faucetbox side of things ran dry and I simply needed to top them off. I do my best to keep an eye on the balance, but I can't be everywhere all the time  Undecided
