I'm just pointing out that you do get free bitcoins since that was the point of this post if I'm right ?

If there are any conditions then it is not free.
If you say something like this, "Here have some bitcoins...", then those bitcoins are free,
unless you add something like, "... if you do this..." to the sentence, then those bitcoins
are not free. You are asking the other person to enter into a contract with you to provide
a service.

Myself I think that giving bitcoins away just for loading a page and then inputting your bitcoin
address is okay, like with dailybitcoins.com. Also I think that requiring one to get some kind of
membership before getting any bitcoins is okay, as with the bitcoin faucet which requires one
to have a google account, to keep people from abusing the system. As long as membership
is free and does not have a bunch of conditions attached.

Coinslot.org, limited to <50 payouts total per day of 0.001 each

marked

Quote from: Coinslot.org
Coin slot is a site designed to give away Bitcoins in exchange for completing ad offers.

Paying for a service; not free.

umm Dailybitcoins and Coinads isn't free then ? as an advertiser you pay for impressions or  pay for people to visit your site to win prizes ?

It does not matter, I feel, who is giving the bitcoins away but whether the receiver is asked to actively do something to get them.
Being exposed to advertising by going to their sites I do not feel is too much to ask... others may disagree and may not feel it is worth
it.  They can choose to leave the site right away.

I am not too familiar with your site. Could you answer a few questions please?

When you say a "free tournament", what does that mean?
Does that mean there is no entry fee?
Does it require member/players to risk their own money?
Is membership at your site free?
Are bitcoins/chips given for free to allow people to play in those tournaments?
Are players allowed to withdraw all their winnings afterward with no conditions?

Thank you.

I can answer that:

"Free tournament" means it's a tournament that is free to enter.

There's no entry fee.

The players don't have to deposit any of their own money at all.

Membership is free.

The winner of the hourly freeroll gets 50 chips; each chip is 1/1000th of a bitcoin; the minimum withdrawal is 100 chips, so you have to win twice before you can withdraw (or you could deposit enough to put your balance up to 100 chips, then withdraw).

The only condition is that you can't withdraw less than 100 chips at a time.  There's no requirement to play a certain amount of "real money" games before you can withdraw.

I think this qualifies as a way of getting bitcoins for free.

Strike Sapphire Bitcoin Casino also has 4 free poker tournaments each day.  They're just as free as the SealsWithClubs ones, and with the same restriction.  The balances there are denominated in US dollars even though the deposits and withdrawals are done only in Bitcoins, at the current mtgox price, and the minimum withdrawal is $5.

They don't accept players who are in the USA.

Currently there are 2 tournaments worth $1 each, and 2 tournaments worth $3 each, every day.  The games run in the afternoon US time, or late night European time.

Thanks dooglus, that is all correct.

Of course you CAN deposit and gamble your own money too :-)

The best thing to do with your 50 chips (imho) is to play the half hour game which costs 50 chips to play and has 100 chips added to sweeten the prizes.

Play Bitcoin Poker at sealswithclubs.eu. We're active and open to everyone.

I've made a service with automatic address entry, a timer and colour-coded links that makes it easier to visit the "Daily Bitcoins" type of sites at the appropriate time every day. The service is located at skude.se/BTC.

If you wish to discuss my service, there's a thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=82450
