Must have been a multipool switching over, I only see 6-7 GH/s.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I just got home and saw the PM on irc from the dev so I built a pool. Putting it in my signature because of the retarded new rules. I'll be renting to try and support my pool so please come join me, 0% fees until monday. This looks like a longer pow period, which will be nice for once.
Dev what are your plans for this coin? You are very active trying to get pools but please focus your attention on getting this onto an exchange or at least make a web site.

I'm working on ending the error that all x13 and x15 coins have where they crash on the first launch. The exception is related to a windows registry key called "importFinished" but it also happens in Linux. I think the missing wallet of the error is some wallet it tries to import. If that key is missing it will throw the exception. I narrow down the search to these: https://github.com/halcyondev/halcyon/search?q=strWalletFileName&ref=cmdformIts used to look for an existing wallet on first start, but it should be initialized on the command line or else its "" It's impressive the amount of people that re edited these wallet sources and nobody cares about trivial things. It's like a urinal of developers where everyone pissed and nobody dares to touch it!! I'll try to fix this and contribute a small piece to the cryptocurrency community. I take a break for now and work on a nicer forum posting and start a website, thank you for the input. I have reached out to a few exchanges and they want to see these things also.

There is clearly a large amount of hash being rented and thrown to a private stratum for this.
He rented big GH from the start, so most of the mined coins are in his hands. People should avoid this coin, it is just another pump and dump.

Yes, I rent some hash but not 30gh. Appreciate the concern but your anger would be better in all these crazy IPO coin threads with hundreds of btc taken or double digit premines!! The mining reward schedule is quite fair and we are still in the largest blocks 36+ hours in. It's not a 24 hour mine, we go for 1.5 - 2 weeks. Good wishes for all.

New user dev account launching a coin in a self-moderated topic. This might be a scam.
Remove this post again and I will start a non-moderated topic for your coin.

Although ipoMiner does not currently mine x15 coins, if we did, I would mine Halcyon. The launch and block reward schedule seem far more fair than most coins have recently. And, I would personally much rather see a developer that's committed enough to their coin to rent hashrate and actually mine, than large IPOs and/or premines. It is a free market after all, and you can always compete against them on the various rental hash sites with your own bitcoin, right? New user dev account launching a coin in a self-moderated topic. I frequently see this guy posting the same message on a number of coins, in large red font, with no evidence. I fully support deleting trash like that, if the dev wants to delete it.

Only 3 posts have been deleted from this thread, 2 for using huge red fonts to make obvious statements, and one for saying "scam" with no other input. This is called "stock bashing" in the established markets and I wish to avoid it. I'll leave your warning for new users. Miners and those who liketo rent hashes still have plenty of large payout blocks and large pools to choose from. This isnt one of those "24 hour mining" coins or the hundreds-BTC IPO/ICO schemes or huge "premine for bounties for my friends" that are all popular this summer. Mine some, maybe you will have a smile. tl;dr: Hashrate is still low, block sizes are still large, couple weeks of mining left, exchanges and development information TBA. As requested by the exchanges I've contacted, Block explorer is live, I'll theme it nice very soon. http://explorer.halcyon.pw/I'm nearly done with the block explorer inside the wallet QT too. Still tinkering with fixing that x13 - x15 wallet first launch bug. Come mine with us, all. Nethash isn't too high yet and we are still in the largest block rewards. Features and development will be launched soon, also a website. And we contact some product distributors about selling products for HAL.

The dev appears to be working hard, and trying to get this coin moving. Time will tell. But may pay to keep an eye on this one..

This is called "stock bashing" in the established markets and I wish to avoid it. It's not called stock bashing. It's called: Some guy on the internet launches a coin and I can not see if he is legit or not because he doesn't tell me anything about himself or his team or his vision. Sadly a lot of developers leave a coin after a while. When I'm going to mine a coin I would like to know who you are and what your vision is to avoid unnecessary mining costs. When you launch something with real money involved I think it's not normal to not include this information. Why do you expect a normal friendly reaction from me when this altcoin section is totally rotten to the core with scams?

Could someone briefly summarise: 1) the strenghts of this coin? 2) the weaknesses of this coin? 3) promises made? kept? any FUD? To the dev(s), what will be the key original code/feature(s) in this coin? And are you going to provide "Proof of Developer" certification from cryptoasian: http://cryptoasian.com/And are the devs here real developers, or copy-paste devs or middlemen, like the SYS guys?
