I dumped more than 150000 HAL into this wall the day before yesterday. Lost like 20 bitcoin on that trade.
Made 10 bitcoin on this coin before so still big loss. Best of luck to whoever is holding, I'm out.

I doubt that selling at 1500 sat. was very smart. How much did you pull out of this trade? Something like 2 BTC for nearly 10% of the coin supply.

2 BTC's better than 0.5
Market cap's still ~5500$ when recently dead coins proved scam can go all the way down to 1500$ without any hope to recover higher than maybe 3k$. Also, nobody is pumping dead coins right now seeing how bearish BTC is.
So he was right to stop loss now instead of 2 weeks from now when 1 HAL could be worth less than 500 sat.

You can of course gamble on getting news from the dev, it's still possible, even if more and more unlikely as time passes without a single post from him.

I managed to pull out like 2,4 btc indeed. And I agree with above post. It explains my feelings about this coin completely.

If you spent those 2 BTC on hiring a new dev and other large holders also contributed, you could sell these coins for 10 BTC at least in one month. That's a simple math. The problem is people don't want to do anything. They baghold, wait and complain if it doesn't work out. I contacted two reputable devs recently with experience in PoS area if they can help with a community takeover on this coin. Waiting for their response. Anyone cares to help with this?

Have you messaged Prometheus? He posted last week in the blocknet thread something about HAL, making it sound like he was still in touch with the dev and that progress was still being made on the store and whatnot.

Surely not. He is not a dev and only interested in P&D for profit. I think we have got enough of the current dev. A lot of talk and no work done.

Right, but Prometheus might be able to assist in the takeover or at least with getting in touch with the current dev. The current dev doesn't seem responsive. I have sent him a PM or two with no response.

Not sure you can call it a dump with such a low volume. There's simply no buy support at all, so the price naturally falls. But this is far from being the only coin in this case. Even coins with active dev's like KEY are dumped to oblivion and have no buy support.
Each new month is worse than the previous one since july.
It's probably to all the BTC recent volatility, where the whales are now playing.

halcyon's dev not posting for 1 week doesn't help thought.

Yes it is the problem. Only maybe 5% of coins last for more than a month lately (2 weeks?) because the market wants "new new new" then fud about "why new coin?" in new coin threads  Cheesy

HAL investors were waiting on MintPal for big push in HAL price, they PM me on Twitter. Mintpal dies and they lose interest in HAL, this is the real reason for the price drop, not a forum thread.

I paid for the payment gateway in HAL and while the price has dropped the programmer has been slower to respond  Roll Eyes  it is the backbone for the Store but only 2 people have expressed any real interest in the store Sad

HAL anon works well and I pay for the servers. Paying rewards with increased POS payment for masternode is not something the coin core likes any and it is 4 weeks of work for me so far and nobody has even PM me any more about running masternodes. The question is what to do now?

Store will be released when gateway is finished, we will see the interest.

This is still the latest news. The gateway is half-alive and some work is done but not enough to be functional. The contracted worker has been hard to get a hold of and I have been tired of it! I'll come to check and update but I dont hear enough. I will update again sooner with the news. I feel like nobody cares for the store except 2 users in PM which expressed interest, they just wait for pump. I worked hard for site and anonymous sending transactions and investors sell everything because they want more pump! Oh not enough! It's stupid. I will update when i hear from the programmer contracted for the payment gateway.
