ShadowMarket Progress Report

This is great news.  Great work CRZ.  I'm pretty sure CRZ has been working his butt off the last several months on this.  From the few images we have seen it looks amazing imo.  The announcement says that next phase will only take a few days and then the designs will be released to the public for feedback.  I don't think any of this would be near possible if crz didn't put huge time and effort in.  He has mentioned he has been working very hard non-stop on this.  I think we should all donate a few SDC to show our appreciation for this epic achievement. We don't have instamine/premine funds to support devs, the community has to step up, every small amount helps.  His addresses are found in the link:

what happened to the faucet?

JUST found this from December. Checking status of faucet in irc now.

I have a faucet that will be online later today ... It will only give out small amounts of SDC but is a starter for ten.
The idea of having a fund and paying for contributions towards the project is good idea.

Good initiative but China blocked bitcointalk. Should be good to open the same chinese topic in shadowtalk and to translate all shadow websites to chinese.

EDIT: We could approach some chinese exchanges like btc38 and ask them to add SDC. I have good trades history on btc38. I can try to contact them.

Ugh, I'd forgotten all about that. I've replicated it over on ShadowTalk. We were planning to do a give-away on 8BTC in order to spread awareness and maybe broaden the community a bit, so wanted a place where people could go for more info.

Translating the website's a good idea - thanks. I don't think we have any non-English language options for the new wallet yet either, so we might need to sort that out before any give-away. And please do contact btc38, they might respond better to a request from someone who's traded there previously.

Agree the website needs a major rehaul. I brought this up long ago and it still isn't fixed. You can't even read half of the descriptions they are cut off. This is a must fix and it should be done soon.  


Also anyone else have thoughts on ShadowTorrent? i think with the i2p stuff adding something like that to our roadmap would increase value of SDC. As long as we think our devs could deliver a system like that...similar to what vtorrent hopes to do...would be an amazing addition to an already amazing coin imo. It would also draw many people to SDC core and they would in turn use the marketplace. Imagine that SDC will become something like the modern day Kazaa or Limewire and it cant even be shut down or stopped by anyone or any government. Imagine the press ....imagine how many people are going to want to get there hands on the ShadowCore client ...i can see it now
