My first suggestion would be to open up console Help>Debug window>Console and type repairwallet then restart the client
I really don't think you should have 0 connections thats a bit strange tbh. Have you downloaded the blockchain before or is it a fresh install?

lets not try to pick fights with other coins. Its only going to come around and bite as in the ass when SDC starts to get attention.

Probably yes but some facts like that every coin can be run on TOR should be known to not let people be manipulated so easily.

There is a lot of different coins in my opinion and there is no sense to argue each-other just focus on own goals and move forward.

You need to have sent some coins from that wallet for the public key to register with the blockchain. It should appear in the field there after.
