An important step in bankroll security and announcement about future forks can be read on our blog. I don't mind that in order to have better security, you're no longer going to distribute any further forks. Glad that you guys are switching to Ledger Blue hardware wallets, it's probably a step up from your current custom cold wallet set-up Also, it would get pretty annoying if you'd have to keep distributing forked coins every few weeks... EDIT: I was wrong, forks will be distributed as long as they're supported by ledger. See my response below.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

They didn't say anything of the sort. They will keep distributing forked coins, provided they're supported by Ledger, which has always been the case in the past.

Is there any reason why your mods ban people for stating their opinions and then call them trolls for no reason? Your site sincerely needs to get it together with the ridiculous actions of your mods in the chat room. A user was muted for doing something he asked permission to do and got no response for and I made a simple comment about it and was muted for no reason, the actions of your overly sensitive mods are ruining the friendly atmosphere on your site and I promise you I am not the only one who feels this way. There are a LARGE number of people who are fed up with the insanely rude behavior of the mods on your site.

I find it hilarious that you left important parts of the chat out. Hilarious and quite sad yet somehow... expected. Just goes to show how exact my first statement was.

I find it hilarious that you left important parts of the chat out.
The important part is that the person that was muted didn't think it was a big deal, and both mods involved were friendly and even apologized for the misunderstanding. Only you were trying to make a big issue out of nothing.
you're no longer going to distribute any further forks.
They didn't say anything of the sort. They will keep distributing forked coins, provided they're supported by Ledger, which has always been the case in the past. Correct, the policy itself doesn't change, the site will still distribute all coins it is able to distribute. What however canges is the requirement for a coin to fall under this policy.

It was pretty late and I just quickly skimmed over the article, so I missed that part, you're correct. I didn't know too much about hardware wallets, so I was surprised to see that these past forks have been supported by Ledger. I've edited my previous post to avoid any confusion and not spread misinformation, sorry for the error.

Quoting Ledger's CTO on the matter: "We can easily support forks that have a price and are legit. I don't believe [ Super Bitcoin][...] is, but that's just my opinion" Both BTG and BCH run with the same chrome application as the Bitcoin app does, the changes are considerably small for most forks. IIRC syncing the BTG node took them more time after the fork than getting the code and app ready.

It's nice of them that they offer this service for all of their customers while they don't have to, in my opinion at least. I have a Ledger Nano sitting here, but haven't touched it yet, it's probably going to be the easiest way to get future forked coins...

Temporarily limiting the investment feature: For the time being, we will no longer accept bankroll investments from completely new investors. If you didn't invest into the bankroll in the past, you will thus be unable to make a new investment starting right now. Currently active investors are not affected by this change, everyone who's got a standing investment into one of the bankrolls right now will still be able to increase, decrease, or remove any of their investments. While this change is only temporarily, there is no fixed point at which everyone will be allowed to add new investments yet. We'll inform you once the restrictions are lifted.
Another news: Players can now withdraw Litecoins to segwit addresses.

As a long time investor, this comes as worrying news. Care to elaborate a bit? It's simply a way to limit the growth of the bankroll, as the currently available amount is fully sufficient to cover all wagering volume. another way would have been to increase the fees on investments, in a hope that the worse offer would keep people from joining the investors pool, which is something we didn't want to do, as it would penalize not only new, but also current investors.
