No I wouldn't. That kid would have to live with that name and outside Japan it sounds odd. What about Mark for 100 BTC . That name sounds good and it's a good omen, he can make even 850K bitcoins if he's crafty enough .

I'm going to do, why not, nothing can be done to get the BTC150 and I'm sure will be many people will do it, and if it was not for one baby, the baby names satoshi will be the most widely used in that year, lol

I am currently in Eastern Europe recruiting a surrogate for triplets. They will be called Shitcoin, Rapecoin and the final one will be named 5K4utxoydqvBCtJBqVsGkuXZjsqEqVaM5cnmTBJtmWKFSHDoZAG after the private key that paid for all of them.
I won't be asking for payment from anyone for this wonderful project.
dude, you're a lunatic. anyway.. if this is actually happening, I'd snatch a newborn baby somewhere and name it Satoshi by tomorrow. nobody said it had to be mine by blood, right.

Satoshi is a pretty cool name for a kid I think
it is a cool name. Satoshi (kanji 聡) have 3 meanings, that is "wise, quick-witted, and clear-thinker." I imagine Satoshi picked this name because he knows what it means.

I think naming your baby after a sub-unit of Bitcoin is inappropriate. I don`t know how people in here just think about that??!! What people wouldn`t do for money(bitcoins) in these days? We must put more value on more important things in life,NOT MONEY. I don`t say that money is not good if you earn it correctly and not by selling your integrity OR your kid`s name..but our lives destiny(goal) is not to make money, but to create a family, maybe a succesfull career and the most important thing to LIVE happily as long as you can!

... LOL. Name your child Satoshi, rename yourself the next subunit to the left, rename your father the next subunit to the left, rename your grandfather the next subunit to the left...

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

you can name your boy satoshi and get 150 BTC and move to japan LOL
Obtaining the Japanese citizenship is next to impossible if you don't have any Jap blood. not with the current btc value, maybe when it was at 1200 Right now, BTC150 is worth some $ 38,000. And in many countries people are producing babies for just one-tenth of that amount.

Ok, so we all expect BTC to reach $10 000 in the next couple of years, pls do not BS that you don't when I know we all do. So, let us do a bit of simple math, 150 BTC x 10 000 = $1.5 mil Rephase the question, Would you name your baby Satoshi for $1.5 mil? Personally? Nah. I do not care about these magic coins. The man said it. Who cares about magic?
