so basically 2 guys paid the fee and for both weekly payouts resumed. If only my account wasn't still pending and I could pay the fee...... lol

From reading the whole discussion in litecointalk, It seems like the weekly payout resume but the previously owed coins is not in the balance. Furthermore it seems like you can pay the "fee" gradually and the fee will keep on decreasing depending on whats left for your account.

Whats funny is that there is no TX ID of him paying the 16 BTC fee ( or I could have missed it ) seems bogus to me. With the 16 BTC fee, he (chris) could have resume his ponzi and only dissapear like 5 months later after he got no more funds to pay it again

P.S : anyone have a small account that have a small fee on it? Would like to try it and see if the weekly payout is indeed resuming

Where did you see about the gradually fee payment? If you pay, lets say 10%, will you get 10% of the payouts weekly until you pay more of the fee?
That would be fucking amazing if it was in the system.

Unfortunately, as others have said, the full fee must be paid in order to get weekly payouts again. At least it isn't as bad as taking a loan out from a bank.
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

It seems it could be his tactics to do so. Makes me wonder how can people still trust him despite that he has tricked us for months and after months of waiting, what we have in our account is not our balance despite it is a fee that we must pay in order to resume weekly payment .
Big question mark will be where is our earning from the previous months that he should have pay us instead of asking us an upfront payment like this. Those who sent him the fee must have no clear mind of this thought

Yes. Essentially we are still in the same position we were in 3 months, 4 months, 5 months ago. Until there is an actual accessible balance it's still in 100% scam territory for me. And I still don't think we'll ever see a withdraw-able balance (of the last 5 months of payments anyway).

LOL so apparently I need to pay this clown 55BTC to resume mining, which is approximately $10k, which is roughly the equivalent of the total sum I invested!

Course I wont be paying this thief 1 red cent.

He must be high on coke or something from all the filthy money he stole to put this proposal forward....

I think this will be payable by coins owed, I mean come on, how can anyone expect people to pay 900 or 400 BTC for this? It's so outlandish that there has to be more to come we don't know about yet.

I thought people would be over the whole mad at Chris thing by now but I guess not. I wrote this off months ago and if I get my coins, even a percentage of them, I will be one happy mother fucker.

Just finally got my notice to pay about 19 BTC to continue. LOL.

Yea, not doing that.

Next option?

FOR ONE THING....

I bought a MAJORITY of mine, RIGHT before he stopped paying... So I have to pay a yearly fee on something even though I never got paid from it once??

How does this make any sense.

Try again Chris.

Anxiously awaiting the next scam attempt...

Whats being inferred over in the Litecointalk forum is that balances currently owed will appear once all accounts are cleared, that we will be able to withdraw from, and pay the fee from, to continue mining. If this isnt a ponzi its the only viable solution I can think of that will fix this mess.

I find it odd however that he can work out what we owe him before he is able to work out what he owes us.

Technically, he already knows what he owes the customers since the system tracks the weekly payout per share (or should be tracking it). The BTC/LTC just doesn't show up as a balance that can be withdrawn.

Further update - https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=25734.msg263234
Another person paid a small fee and was able to receive weekly payouts + withdrawal. Still nothing for the missing 6 months of payouts.

there seem to be people getting payouts without having paid the maintenance fee. so balance payout seems to be not connected with the fee.
fee ist just for further weekly payouts.
plz dont feel motivated to pay the fee after looking in this thread

There isnt any update yet from what he are owed from the past months and it seems like he has no intention to give what we are owed though

He has a tendency to "forget" his promises and tend to be late on schedule, nothing new about this and I expected this mess indeed.

I find it odd however that he can work out what we owe him before he is able to work out what he owes us.

It seems like it is set beforehand though and it seems the fee amount is basically almost the same amount as what our share prize are (without discount) . From what stated previously on the site it should be like 20 % of the shares . Furthermore, what weird is that his ability to keep silent although there is alot of havoc in litecointalk regarding this crazy fee
