Just set my 10 year old daughter up with an LTCgear account.   I sold her 100 shares for .1 BTC and she has to pay me in one year.    Wink   The deal isn't available to anyone else.   Grin

Does anybody know whether shares I'd buy now through LTCGearstore would be eligible for the multiplication?

You should ask the owner. I'm certainly not eager to support such a crude attempt to benefit from Chris' business. I don't understand why Chris doesn't take action against ltcgearshop, anyways.. Private sale of small quantities is one thing, but this is ridiculous.

I don't really understand the problem with it? As in, someone selling shares to others in smaller batches? I'm just joining so have a lack of knowledge about the history, would you be willing to elaborate?

It's just my personal opinion, I don't consider this as a particularly honorable business project.
As I understand it, the possibility of transfering shares between ltcgear-users is intended to facilitate private sales, not to be used in a commercial scale. But I'm not the economic authority
of Bitcoin country, so if Chris (the owner of ltcgear) tolerates it (as he seems to), you should
be ok. Just be aware that ltcgearshop is, to my knowledge, not an official reseller, and that you
then have to trust two guys instead of one.

Clear Smiley I was thinking along the lines of naming of the url and stuff Wink
With the difficulty to get full packs it's a nice option. Though it might be better for Chris to start selling smaller packages Wink
Thanks for your response!

Got my first payout yesterday - happy  Smiley

But - my worry is - when all of these 300MH/s miners are released to market in Jan 2015 - e.g. Zeus Volcano Blades, I can see the difficulty skyrocketing and our shares becoming worthless - unless Chris does a x10 multiplication, which im sure is unlikely.

Whats your opinions on that??  Huh

Hopefully that is true, but it isn't the point.  I want her to learn that she has to set aside some of the money she gets to pay for her obligations.    I'm just making it a low bar for starting out.   Also hopefully she will learn the value of investing.

What s the problem?

I couldn't pay all the bitcoins for my shares straight away but I sent the rest 3 days ago and emailed him but he hasn't replied and my shares are still on-hold, I am very worried that they wont be activated and I wont get the share multiplication and/or that I wasted my money all together.

EDIT: and before I sent the rest he was in contact with me, it was only until after I sent them all that he stopped replying.

It will most probably be alright, it is weekend. People sometimes need a break..
