Aren't the purchases made today included for next week's payout? I thought you had to purchase before Friday 

If you buy before Wednesday night, you will get full pay out Friday. If you buy Thursday/Friday you will get an x% of the week.

Not sure if it's still the same, but IMO it was like this.

Not anymore, Erik. Chris changed the snapshot time to late Friday. I have experienced every week. Bought at late Friday (UTC time), still get the whole payment for the week.

I think today we will find out if LTCgear is a Scam/Ponzi or not. IMO its the best time for Chris to leave business with our money, since after this Black Friday sellout the market will be kind of saturated. No more further incline in daily profits, so it would make sense for a Ponzi to stop paying.
If we get our payouts today i think thats a pretty good sign and we can have a little more confidence and trust in this game we are part of.

About the 40K0 deal - its negative balance for us now, but will bring more customers next week.

Can someone explain what this shall mean? Is this to explain why there was quantity -1 showing up for the
40k0 pack or does he say that the shares were sold below the "production cost"??

The shares he sold are not backed up by hardware. So he sold them in advance to get money for new chips. This is my understanding, but I might be wrong.

At first, I didn't like this interpretation. Chris admits selling shares that aren't backed up by any HW, hmm, not  good. But now it's really charming, like a revenge for bfl and all the preorder scammers: we customers get payouts in advance for miners which aren't yet produced. Sound great to me

Missed this!  If its negative balance, then by definition current situation is a Ponzi scheme.  Only hope is for new miners with more efficient chips, assuming of course that this is in works, to be produced before ltcgear runs out of new buyers.

I joined this game about two weeks ago.  This information and continuous price drop is a very bad sign.  We can only hope that ltcgear can turn this thing around.

Only time will tell, hopefully Chris allows me to keep some orders "On-hold" untill after the payouts, this will allow me to reinvest the payouts and also reduces the risk for me

Wow I feel really terrible  *looks at all the resellers and other topics of people selling shares for 20-30% more then I do

Another way to see it: I offer insanely low prices to people who cannot afford a 15k or 40k shares pack, but maybe you only see the evil in things
