3K is a known quantity that will generate you BTC (or other coin) right away and also qualify for multiplication on the 24th so yes, go with that for right now if you're new to LTCG.

Hi guys,

About the BF and CM missing shares (in some cases).
Because of high server usage, the payment module had to reuse old addresses instead of attempting to generate new ones.
So orders payment addresses overlapped in some cases. This should not be a problem, since last four digits of order value are always unique when paying in BTC.
Unfortunately, there are cases where a payment matching order X was made to address A and then a small difference was paid in such way that order X total + small diff = exact match for order Y with same address A..
This sort of orders most of the time require to be processed manually since BTC is quasi anonymous and payment do not carry payer ID with them.
This along with other sort of wonders (and several ks of orders never paid) generated some delay in adding shares.
Those left will be sorted and fixed asap.

  Several thousand orders never paid. ***holes!!! EDIT: Might also have something to do with all the orders that initially had the coupons applied but then failed, showing the btc amount without coupon, at the checkout page. I had one of those as well and obviously didn't pay it.

I'm buying the gen2 shares but ROI will be longer - probably twice as long. The idea is they will also be profitable for a longer period. You could also buy qASIC shares from resellers for less than at the LTCgear page.
