I have a 21B share this round with my 50T rental.  Hoping!!!

With 50T shouldn't you better call it "gambling" instead of "hoping"? Don't want to spoil the fun though but in the the long run isn't it just luck you are counting on when renting 50Th?

Yes, but remember I hit a block last week with 50T.  Maybe lightning will strike twice!!

I tried that also, 3 times I rented 1P for 24 hours from NiceHash, Best share was 5B, so I rented 50T for 18 hours and hit a block.  Go figure...

I swear.. Renting hash can feel like ill-gotten losses. The whole "Well, the hardware isn't worth the cost of what it can ROI." seems a lot better than: "Throw some BTC in a cloud farm, which are profits to the owner, in hopes of a win."  I'd rather own the overpriced hardware I guess At worst, you can rent out some of your hash to make up for losses.  At best, you can hit a block and sell the equipment for a decent profit.

Well when you own the hardware you get bills like this from the power company. Its not horrible, but when your average bill is $75-90 a month then it shoots up to this...lol

Congrats James! That's a great pull with 5th. Heck, my entire farm is just a little over that, haha. Spend it wisely and "hodl" some for the future!

Wow... Still in shock at this point.  Blessed is more like it..  Damn...

I started about 2 years ago with a BFL Jalapeno and a few of the old 333Mhz sticks, then got an Avalon that did 180GHs, sold it 2 weeks later for a profit.  Mostly did pool mining and then changed over to GPU altcoins for the past year or so.  Started back up with SHA256 in October of this year with around 6TH, solo for about a month, and then moved everything over to CKpool..  Had a Spondoolies 30 which sucked and sold it and kept the S3's and the Terraminer.

Bought an Antminer S4 off of ebay about 2 weeks ago and still waiting for it to show.

And a flipping 5TH rental pulls it off...  So 2 years later I reach a little over a breakeven point if I factor in hardware and electricity  

Tip to -ck on the way..  Thanks for your pool and all you have done for Bitcoin.
