It's funny because my VPS provider had rolling DDoS attacks applied to each of its major US nodes.

Great work buddy Smiley, I'm sure you had better things to spend your time on over Christmas though... Well done for sorting it out Smiley.

Were the attacks against the provider or your pools?

The original ones were against my pools. The last 2 days it's been the provider.

One of my miners failed over to the German pool yesterday, I'm not sure if it was because of the various ddos attacks or for some other reason, but generally things have seemed pretty smooth from the end user perspective, thanks, ck!

Is the site frontend being updated or something?

Just because my nicehash order is running, but I can't pull up the stats.

It's 1902UTC here...the US servers, and the pool stat site, are again unreachable for stats, but the miners are all apparently connected to the US server and still mining to it. I'm seeing attempted redirects as the browser attempts to connect for stats, including an adclick note. Dunno if that's helpful. Onward and upward.  Cool

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

Not sure where they get their data...but it's a hoot. Takes only a few seconds to get the idea that some folks in China haven't got anything better to do than DDoS the planet.

MRR says both US and DE pools are "Sick"

2053UTC here. All my machines are mining on the US site OK (ie., they show alive and accepted shares are increasing). I can't, however, still get to the US site for stats, etc. Considering what's been going down the past few days, it's likely the same bloke again. I've got my machines set to US/1, DE/2, Slushpool/3 and no failovers at all...so far.

Mine failed over to the DE site a few hours ago.  Then it went sick.  Now it says can't contact pool on the 3333 or 3334 port.

2115UTC...all still normal on the mining end here on 3333 on the US site. Additionally, however, I'm now able to get to the stats pages as well...so all is truly normal here. MRR seems to have a lot of troubles with connections.  Also, out of curiosity, can you define "sick?"  Cool

DDoS attacks have resumed on the US pool and have only affected the gateway. If you are already mining you won't be affected but new miners will be unable to connect until it subsides - a new gateway has been set up so should be visible shortly but may suffer the same consequence. The De pool was transiently affected on the rental port but is back working.

Looks like it's a DDoS New Year for all.
