Question for Inaba: Are you guys really shipping 1.5 rigs per day?
I don't believe Inaba works for BFL. He just lives/works in their vicinity.

Yes, I am hosting them locally. There is a thread with the details somewhere. The cost is $300 per month, per rig for hosting. Any shipping you've paid to BFL can be applied to your hosting costs.
I will consider this depending on when mine is read to ship. It's an attractive deal if the time between mini-rig and asic shipments is short, and apparently asics are on schedule for october. Question for Inaba: Are you guys really shipping 1.5 rigs per day? and seems like they shipping 1 rig per 1.5week

We did not get ours yet. We had some email conversation with BFL about shipping destination but I have no tracking number yet. The delivery was originally scheduled for yesterday. I still hope we get ours soon.

Hi Guys,
Is it okay to ask how did you guys pay BFL? It seems like this rig is way too much for bankwire or BTC?
And do you pay upfront or pay when they are done creating your order and ready to ship?
I just tried ordering 2 singles and payment was via PP (cant say the whole thing, It's a bad word.) and nothing happens.
It says on the page that I am all done. Does that mean they will email/charge/request funds when they are done creating the order and ready to ship?
Thanks a lot... and I am sorry if I am asking this in this thread. I know it is supposed to be a wait list, but I think I can get some answers from the entire group of people who already bought/ordered the mini rig.
Sorry again and thanks a lot.

This is the minirig thread; however.... Payment is up front. You pay to be put in line. Then they will hopefully ship later. Yes, they will send a pay request when they get to it.

I paid $30k for my Rig Box (ultimately, 2 mini-rigs) up front with a bankwire transfer. I then received my mini-rigs about 4 months later. The wait was agonizing, but well worth it.

My mini-rig was ready to ship today (!!!) and I decided to have Inaba host it. Inaba was super responsive and should be a great addition to the BFL team.

so that means they are taking are May's order right now,lol I paid for one miniRig on 4-24 and have not received it yet, nor have I received a tracking number. However, 1 1/2 weeks ago I received an email asking me whether I want it converted into a SC miniRig, hosted by Inaba or delivered. I chose the delivery option. Congratulations to dust for being able to jump the line - did you bribe someone? Or, considering Inaba's new job, maybe people who opt to have it hosted by Inaba get to jump the line.

I have also no emails since I choose to get delivery to our place. Maybe the hosting option is the only way to get a rig. Maybe Inaba could comment on that.

This is pretty shady. I didn't bribe anyone though, just agreed to pay the $300/month which I think is very reasonable However, Inaba hasn't actually picked it up yet and set it up for mining, so I could be in the same situation as you guys. Hopefully BFL has the hardware they claim to have ready.

As of right now, I am in the same boat you guys are. I pick up the rigs when BFL tells me they are ready. There is no back room deals or anything unusual going on. I have no pull or sway beyond what anyone else does as far as rig delivery goes. Hell, I'm still waiting on *my* rigs to be ready. If there was any line jumping, you can be sure it would be to get my rigs mining.

If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it. There was never anything there in the first place.

Just in time :-) :-) "Your MiniRig shipped yesterday by FedEx International. Tracking # 870814944695. It is estimated to reach you by 8/14/2012. www.fedex.comJody" Inaba, mining at 150GH/s with GPUs consumes ca. 75kW energy (a small supercomputing center). If You don't remove Your signature people will not believe You use no rigs:-).

Haha yeah, my house is on fire! I actually have a bunch of singles that contribute to that, but in addition to that, I am managing several peoples rigs that have chosen to host with me, so it shows up under my account.

Just to confirm i'm not skipping anyone in line, I was sent this 3 days ago: We are preparing to ship your Minirig... and got this today: We're not there yet. I was querying you before we got to your order so we could be ready They ask about shipping preferences before they are actually ready to deliver the product, which makes sense. I just got a bit too excited
