i've seen on pool we have nonce spammer, who ever doing this it has no use since pool will always pick your best deadline, not add up all your submitted nonce, and also submiting nonce that has higher deadline than your current best deadline will incur penalty to your share as it will flood the network with garbage data

Do you have the Id of the person? I have run_generate as well as run_mine going, so I think I'm generating from the Nonce that I'm creating. If It's me then I'll quit running the generate but I don't know how to make it work without running run_generate.

Uray, have a question for you:

I have found four blocks in the last 24 hours, but my payment from the pool in the last 24 hours was ~12K.

Does that seem right?

little confused here... can't seem to pool mine

i started by generating a 200gb plot and setting up pocminer for solo, saw all the network messages (basetarget, height, generationsignature) and some shares being submitted

then i grabbed dcct-miner and pointed it to burst-pool.cryptoport.io and my plots directory, but the only output was "19mb read/209gb total/no deadline," and it climbed to "32mb read" over the next hour or so without saying anything else, so i killed it. i tried running it again, and it just shows "0mb read/0gb total/no deadline" now. what do the "mb total" and "mb read" bits indicate?

next, i set up burst-pool-miner the same way. it shows the familiar network messages, but has made no mention of shares after running for hours

my account is visible on the network, and i delegated the pool as my reward assignee. my plots directory indeed exists, is populated, and has 777 permissions on the directory and the plot file. neither miner throws any errors, but the pool website shows no indication that i'm mining

some help, please?

Is it possible to use two different systems with the same account? lets say i generate 20 plot files (without overlapping), would it make sense to us 10 files on one system, and 10 on the other? can the pool handle that (shares from the same ip)? or should I use two different accounts?

Yep, you can do that.

As far as if it makes sense, not sure it matters at all.  It would give you two CPUs for plotting though.

I use one account with two rigs that have multiple HDs on each. Mines like a boss!

C Miner Update (dcct)

if you are using c miner for linux, please update your miner : https://s3-ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/burst-mirror/dcct-pool-miner-r2.tgz
this basically remove deadline limit and add socket timeout on nonce submission

uray , can u do a auto payout for those remain below 250 burst after 24 hours ? Or some sort of auto payout for those with left over coin on pool. Or u gonna keep those coin for yourself ? I believe some of the account are inactive and their coin don't reach 250 anytime soon.

Per 24 hours ? Weekly is too long for crypto. Only need to clear those account inactive with less than 250 burst. Once u clear them there wouldnt be anything to clear. So it's sort of one time off for most account. Running the auto payout should be fast because u are only clearing inactive account which only represent less than 50% on the pool ? Those who are inactive could be no longer mining , or left for other pool , or left for solo. Clearing their payout within 24-48 hours would be good.

I left the pool since it has been on the same block and not paying out for the last 20 hours now.  Hopefully I will not lose whatever payment I should have had by leaving before the "round" finished.
