I use XAPO's wallet for daily spending, just because of the debit card linked to it. I can pay directly from my bitcoin wallet, thru VISA's system. They have a so called cold storage as well (vault, and they say that it's insured somehow). But if I would have a really lots of bitcoin I would have use a phisical cold storage. I don't know if it would be paper wallet or Trezor kind, but I hope that in the near future I have to think about this dilemma Smiley

Well when these 2 services comes together i would use xapo too.
May i know what rates are when you try to withdraw the money at ATM.
I think that they charge additional fees (hidden fees), is the exchange rate different from coindesk bitcoin price?

Depends on what your goal for that address is.  If it's spending money and not a lot then core or other good wallets would work fine.

But if storing a lot of BTC then things change.  Cold wallets are very important for long term holding.  Paper wallets if done right is one of the best way's to store BTC assuming it's done right and stored safely.

Some off topic question :
Is blockchain safe i mean 100% safe or the owner could basicly steal all your coins?
Blockchain is the Bitcoin Blockchain that stores all the transactions and blocks. Blockchain.info is a service.

Blockchain.info or any online wallet is not 100% safe when it comes to wallets. The webpage is loaded from their server which means that if someone gains access to it, the website can be changed. Also, blockchain.info in particular is very unreliable and stores encrypted keys on their server. Even though encrypted, they do not need your 2FA, they only need to bruteforce your password to gain access to the address.

Yes. Paper wallets are good when we considering online hacking. But we need to keep them safe from physical damages.
Bitcoin core and Armony need more resources for initial setup whereas Electrum is a light weight wallet, recommended for beginners.

I haven't try to withdraw money from ATM yet. As I understood from the official topic of XAPO here, they doesn't charge hidden fees. They only charge their official fee, which buils up some of their fee and the fee of the ATM network usage. The card issuer company has a dedicated page for this where you can check the actual fees per transaction. The rates are nearly the same like if you use your fiat card in a different bank's ATM.
I use only POS purchase in shops because it's really free.

What are the prices (roughly) of these cold hardware wallets? Is the cheapest for beginners, or the price doesn't reflect the security of it?
Do I think well that if you print a paper wallet, you can add funds to it while the paper is hidden somewhere, you only need to use the paper only if you want to spend from it?

all the software wallets are free to use like electrum, bitcoin core and armory. the only wallets you have to pay for are hardware wallets like trezor and bitcoin ledger. and yes you are correct, you can deposit money into a paper wallet without having the paper, but if you need to spend it you would need the private key from the paper.

Bitcoin-qt or bitcoin core are the most secured wallet so far created wallets. But this is not the meaning that the other wallets are not recommended. But the protection of your wallet or your bitcoin is completely based on your encrytion.

Get a cheap pc/laptop that never see the internet. Install a wallet via usb

But if you choose only that way then it can be unsafe.
Because if this pc stops working and you don't have any other backup then you already have lost the bitcoins.
At least 2-3 backups you should have, 1 usb, 1 paper wallet, 1 pc/laptop etc..
also the fact that everytime you need to spend your coins you would need to start up your laptop, meaning if you go outside and find a merchant that accepts bitcoin you wouldnt be able to pay them because your laptop would be at time.
the same logic applies for paper and usb wallets  Embarrassed, i like bitcoin but i dont like the fact that it needs to be locked away to be safe,
You won't walk on the streets with all of your bitcoins in your wallet I guess.
This is the reason why bigger mobile wallet providers offer a so called cold storage (XAPO wault, etc) next to your everyday spending wallet.
It's like you only take a little amount of cash in your leather wallet in your pocket, the rest of your money is in the bank, in the safe at home or in your pillow Smiley
In this case you can manage your everyday spending of your bitcoins from your mobile wallet with a lower balance and the rest of your BTC can be safe in cold storage or in phisical storage like Trezor.

ya but technically people still carry a majority of their cash in person by having a debit card or something like that. bitcoins the same as in they are both digital
It is completely different. With certain purchases, debit card does not require a pin while using it with micro transactions. It can be cancelled if you want to. If you lose a Bitcoin wallet without backup, you would lose it forever. If you didn't setup a pin then you're dead. If you did, you can restore access with a backup.

The plain btc wallet is the best for normal users.

What do you mean by plain bitcoin wallet? Are you referring to the mobile wallet named "Bitcoin Wallet" ( that's the first thing came to my mind). But personally I think mycelium is one of the most secured wallet cuz I used to hold my BTC there Smiley

Most secure wallet is either a wallet on papers stored in a safe or Trezor, which is easier to use.

Printers also can get infected aswell but it is not as common.  If new printer some store the last so many prints in it.  I suggest unplugging it for a few minutes and plug back in hoping to get rid of cache.

The older and dumber the printer the better  it is to use.  And of course don't use a public printer.

I do not know how to rally on a third party for paper wallet. It seems a completely new thing for me. I don't know how to get the QR code for over private key with the kind of service and how secure it is. If anyone share their experience with this site would be most useful.
