I have same error with each run the wallet. Win7-x64. Yesterday everything was fine.

Yeah, that is strange, maybe I'll have the same issue when I try again tonight.
I haven't opened it in a few days...I'll let the dev know.

Happy to hear your thoughts.  I was thinking about 3,000,000,000 (about 100 years supply).

Also, the current number of decimal places is 5.  To be in line with Bitcoin, this could also be increased to 8 maybe?

This is a team/community project, and so in that sense it is "democratic" in many ways.

yep, temporary blocking bittrex.com solves the problem.
please add some "fille-proof" checks in future wallet builds

We're trying to add extra functionality to the wallet by incorporating 3rd party services.
You cannot pre-empt all possible future iterations of error by proxy unless we then reduce the extra functionality we incorporate into the wallet (which will be boring if we do that).
I think some credit where credit is due for at least identifying the issue in a timely fashion is in order.

an error in additional feature subroutine shouldn't cause the whole shell failure, just that

Agreed, it's a fair point, but please remember "context".

This is all experimental software..we are at the cutting edge of the birth of a whole new era of financial technology...
that and we fit stuff in around families, and jobs, and hobbies, and paying the bills etc etc etc

But anyway, we're all a friendly bunch, and your feedback is appreciated, so please don't stop, though it can be interpreted as not very "supportive" (we're a sensitive bunch too lol)

We'll continue moving forward with this project, and as always, all are welcome.

Well glad I'm not the only one getting this error that everyone else is. I got mine right after I tried to encrypt my wallet. My question now is can I get my wallet back if I can get it to work again?

wallet is not affected, it's pure gui glitch, if urgent just block bittrex.com by firewall or os dns rules
then launch the wallet and see everything safe and sound

OK all do that when I get home ty for fast reply all post back if it works or not

It's caused by an error in the Bittrex API which we are waiting for them to fix.
You can create a web wallet from www.MUEwallet.com or download an android wallet.

Newish user here.  Been successfully mining in a pool for almost a week now.  For the past few days, I have been attempting to solo GPU mine.  Has something been changed recently?  I can read posts from earlier this year on setting up the config file and also the miner .bat file.  Can not get it to start at all.  Command prompt window opens and then either crashes, or says 404 error URL not found.  Any advice?  Just thought I would do a small test to learn solo.  Thanks everyone!  Hopefully I posted this in the right place.

Thanks.  I just now found a similar post a few pages back.  All I see is a source file, and I have no clue what to do with it.  I only know the .exe files.  Guess I will continue to pool mine for now.  My GTX 980ti seems to work awesome!
