The once in a life time opportunity with VidioShare and porn is tapping into the porn 2.0 amateur market. Sites like YouPorn and PornTube have John & Jane Doe uploading their amateur porn home movies for FREE. They do it without any monetary incentive. It's a 'couple' making a home porno film in their bedroom, not a studio, they're real people, and nobody 'cast' them. They're making porn films and uploading them for FUN!

It's very popular, and at the moment a HUGE untapped resource!

Think of these amateur porn movies like a natural resource. It's like oil in the 19th century, just sitting there waiting for someone to spend a little effort and 'dig' it up, monetise it.

Maybe adding hard-core 'freak' porn is worth pursuing also, but my main suggestion is monetising the amateur porn industry, pay people who have never been paid before using VDO. The market exists, the product exists, and at the moment the 'glue' is advertising, and the site operator makes the $$$.

It won't be hard to convince the amateur porn 2.0 people with their free 'user content' to come over to VidioShare ... with VDO they get paid!!!

But there wont be a casting couch, these porn stars do it with their nearest & dearest. Real people, real SEX ... not freaks

But this opportunity wont last long!

Karl you certainly took the words right out of my mouth with the Porn 2.0 sites acting as a natural resource. When you suggested that days back I immediately spoke to the dev about it, and he completely agreed and was on board 100% for moving it up the stage 2 roadmap. Its a huge un-tapped market and it only makes perfect sense to monetize it. Some of the marketing will come naturally with content being uploading continuously, another fraction of marketing will come into play with word of mouth from content creators loving the idea of making money for simply having sex and uploading.

There is a huge amount of amateur content providers on sub reddits of reddit that would be ideal for the site, they can offer teaser photos and then their better stuff can be pay to view photos or videos , might be worth advertising there.

even if it's subtle advertising, hosting photos on the site and posting them on reddit, people will see the vidio site instead of imgur all the time and get curious and look around.

Is someone gonna screen the content before it is posted. I say because people just post any crap. Currently there is a hindi (Indian) movie, PK, trailor that is posted on some of the adult categories. Screening might just help. Some of the community members can volunteer to screen them if the number of videos are high.

I have been doing most of the screening so far, and plan to continue aiding the efforts to keeping the site content appropriate and within the rules set forth by the dev. People will try to post "crap" I'm sure, but its a simple and easy platform to moderate so we should be fine.

In other news have you guys seen that staking jumped yet another 8% in the last 3 hours?

We are now up to 40.6% of VDO coins staking! This is a record. People pour a glass of wine and cheers to that!

Can we get to 50%? I don't think any ALT coin network has had proof of stake network that high !
