Freaking awesome! The possibilities are endless. Paired next to "Craigslist", it has name recognition that no others copycats can try to trump.
I welcome copycats, their innovations can easily help innovate CraigsCoin. It's going to be BTC version 2.0 and you don't have to wait an hour to transfer money~~ Grin Roll Eyes

This is good news. But I think the development of craigscoin will not stop at this point. A lot of people believed on the BIG Possibilities of this coin, we hope that the coin dev will not get complacent of his ICO reward, and be fueled up more to bring out the untapped potentials of CRAIGSCOIN  to the cryptoworld community and to the world as well.

We should start using the wallet itself for posting ads and promoting it too, we can never depend on one PR release.

im waiting for mac wallet but i thought wallet was already used for posting adds!?

Yes, a lot of garbage ads, and not much up to now.. it needs more exposure, seems like the coin dev has overpaid on the PR  and Marketing.

I understood that the PR thing was part of a multi-channel campaign that would go well beyond a single PR release. Pavel, could you confirm whether that's the case when you get a chance?

For first post:
"10) Digital auction house (TBD)
An auction feature within posted ads.  Each bidder with send coins to her designated address, and only the funds of the winning bidder will be locked in. These funds will be exchanged for the purchased goods/service  between the winner and the seller simultaneously."

I've got to say this will be such a cool feature!!
And what if the auction house also had an encrypted ad system. Where only certain members of a group could see the items for auction, cutting out the potential riff raff.
These auctions would be for the seller's "members only buyers" - as in proven legitimate buyers that the sellers agree to send the encryption code for access.
If CraigsCoin doesn't want to be a part of the potential for unwanted items sold, with bad or evil intentions, then CraigsCoin website (which is somewhat separate from CraigsCoin itself) just needs to create some basic guidlines and KYC's in place to keep these auctions out of the system. "Big Brother" is watching!! Grin

So if Bob wants to auction his Picasso to some global friends of his and wants to keep out any noobs that he feels don't have the respect to own a Picasso, but have the money to pay for it - Bob can keep them out of the sale and only invite the select few of friends he gives the encryption code to.

Again, for the sake of keeping out the bad people, there would be guidelines and KYC's in place - separate from a standard public/open auction house.

Thoughts?

Edit: Or to make the system completely transparent as possible, have the blockchain "ad" unlock the encryption and open it up to the public. This date would be determine by both the the poster and the website in agreement and obviously after the sale is complete?

That way their is no way to prove any illegal actions are taking place.

He didn't say he wouldn't have internet access -- only "limited," probably while he's in transit.

Agree - I think it's one of several things on his to-do list, but yeah, wallets on the top mobile platforms should be a priority.

A few more basic ideas...

1) If someone wanted to sell their car as fast as possible and realized that there are 10 other cars that are the same make and model and are in the immediate area, this person could increase their ADtx list fee to allow for the search engine to bump their car up to the top - yet they would have to hope that their fee was higher than everybody else.

2) If you post an ad and wanted to keep out the spam and scam capital of the world, Nigeria, from calling you up or emailing you. Have a feature that allows ad posters to lock the "website" search engine to allow only potential buyers in the immediate area to be able to see the ad - based off ISP address if possible.

3) Or have a feature built into the ad posting that allows the poster to click "on" that encrypts phone number, address, and/or email address. So if that person posts an ad. Any of these three items can be blocked. If a potential buyer wants to contact the seller, they could click on a button to unlock the encryption at a determined CraigsCoin fee - I don't know 25 cents worth or something. Maybe leave it up for the poster to decide based off their currency rate at which CraigsCoin is worth, thus deterring scammers and spammers.

Thoughts?

Some really good ideas - I especially like 3) and any ideas along those lines that effectively automate a lot of the management of the ad content.
Hopefully, after the initial PR campaign out of the way, Pavel will be able to focus on more of this value-added feature tech going forward.

Going back down

Not really - if you look at the trading, there's not much being traded. Buyers aren't buying big. Sellers aren't selling big. Order book isn't changing much except for some very small btc amounts at the top - rest of the order book is unchanged.

Buyers are waiting for the PR campaign and details on what's next and most coin holders dont want to sell for these prices.

A big part of my job is to bring internet to the places where there's none. That's why I often find myself without any connection whatsoever. Russia is a very big place:)
