**Unfortunately there are a few BAN Shills/Trolls (instahater, bbeesley, fire000 & Phwner) who have taken it upon themselves to flood this thread with crap, just hit ignore - it makes the thread much more readable  Wink**

Hey guys,

So, I and a few others started getting suspicious when BAN (BitcoinAffiliateNetwork) were awarding most of their S3 "givaways" to unused or brand new accounts that were obviously fake, so I started asking questions. I was then attacked by no end of shill accounts on their thread, which made me even more suspicious, so continued to ask questions directly at the pool operator, s0br. He ignored & evaded every single question, even when online, until today - when he started deleting every post by me and anyone else asking for information about the fake accounts that "won" the miners. He has now locked the thread.
The admin of the thread, ThePhwner, was also caught red handed uploading pictures of a S3 he "won" (yes, a pool admin) that were obviously fake.

I urge every miner to use extreme caution with this pool until they explain their actions & the many fake user accounts connected with the pool & it's admin.

Happy mining & be careful out there!  Wink

Edit: Notice this is an unmoderated thread. Unlike theirs.

Prove it.

Proof is in the thread, as you know. Unless it's been deleted of course, otherwise it's all mirrored on bitcointa.lk, as you also know.

a S3 he "won" (yes, a pool admin)

I believe if you look at the timeline, he won the miner before he became an admin.  I see nothing wrong with an avid user of the pool stepping in and offering to help others by becoming an admin

Happy mining & be careful out there!  Wink

Thanks for the advice...and it is sage.   I for one have been mining at the pool since a couple of weeks since it's inception and I have to say that s0br has always been very responsive and has made good on any legitimate issue I have brought to his attention

once the pool got popular and he started getting busier and didn't have the bandwidth to pay personal attention to every little request he stepped up and got some administrative assistance so he could focus on running the pool

so far, I have to say this pool is doing what I really want from a pool.  Paying me.  The giveaways are fun, but I don't rate the pool on this, I rate it on whether I am getting paid what I should be and this pool has done that and more.

unused or brand new accounts that were obviously fake

you do have to see the irony that you are posting said claim from a newly created account so I have to ask.....REALLY?

s0br is more than welcome to come on this thread and answer the questions I asked on the BAN thread. As I said, this is an unmoderated thread - I have nothing to hide. Pointless posts by shills are a complete waste of everyone's time apart from bumping the thread.

At this point, I wouldn't if I were him.  Based on your past posts, I think you pretty much fall into this category.

Of course he won't - because he can't - and he knows it. But I'm inviting him anyway.

Thanks for the silly picture, the bump & welcome to my ignore list  Roll Eyes

it's not that he can't but that he is hanging out in IRC with us talking and laughing about how baseless your claims are

you should join us...it would be a hoot

The shills can't post on the BAN thread anymore, so I see they are flocking here instead...... Cheesy

Frankly, I'm surprised the scam accusation didn't come earlier, but it was bound to happen sooner or later I suppose. There were definitely some major issues that needed to be talked about. s0br only has himself to blame of course, he had ample opportunity to address the concerns & answer questions, but chose not to repeatedly.  Deleting posts then locking his own pool thread was a ridiculous thing to do, it not only arouses more suspicions, but it also makes him look guilty of trying to hide something. For a pool that describes itself as transparent - this is very strange behavior indeed, especially when he had many opportunities to answer questions but either ignored them or diverted the conversation onto something else.

I too look forward to s0br coming on this thread - but have a feeling he won't.  If he chooses not to, then we will all know the truth I guess.

Have you been a victim of dogie insults, neg-rep'd for no reason or been falsely accused by him? If so, air your experiences here:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=905210.0

So... Who's the scammer?

What happened?

How much cash did you get scammed?

Where's the proof? Do you have chat logs, emails, etc?

Really? This is a joke right? RIGHT?

Oh dear. So instead of putting a case across for your actions as a pool admin, you choose to continue with childish insults as usual. Although I've seen worse insults from you aimed at other users who ask questions, I was sort of hoping you might at least put a little effort into your own defense - I should have known better I suppose. I will presume that you are unable to justify your actions or your guilt then, as I have said all along. Thanks for the coin tip  Wink

@ jfrenchy:  I originally posted this thread in the pools section, but the moderators saw fit to move the thread here, the scam section. I suppose it is better described as a con, or a lie,  but if the mods choose to put it in the scam section, there's not much I can do about it.

I have nothing to defend and I don't owe you anything.

Tell ya what, post your real name and physical address, I will personally hand-deliver the S3 that s0br sent me, along with a special bonus.

And yes. You're. A. Wanker.
