They are all hyping about it but I think this year is also doing this, there are all kind of events and people know the bitcoin is gonna rise because of it.
As a example the halving is gonna let the bitcoin rise for sure.

Everybody is hyping about it but right now that is also not really bad and the truth is that the price is gonna rise to a high amount, to be honest its now already raised to a pretty high amount.

It goes both ways.

Theres a set period where people already sold off their bitcoin and the more sell offs there are it will eventually give a price slump.

Depending on the volume, so you`ll see lowered prices after the sell off hits in 20 something days.

It's just a question of what the new all time high will be before the crash occurs.

The new all time high could be $1600. If the price is achieved slowly, the price will not crash. If there is big pump, there is big dump.

Not always true. Just a few months back before block halving, price was pumped from ~400 USD to ~800 USD. But, it is still holding ~650 USD. In reality, a group of Chinese miners are always trying to short bitcoin to maximize profit. But, when their effort does not materialize, they have to buy quickly to cover their loss. This results in sudden price rise.

^^^ Warning!
This user is simply a shill account for the
'cloud mining' ponzi scam he promotes in
his signature.

Hype is the last thing bitcoin's price needs. Bubbles pop and commerce doesn't feel safe in an unfamiliar tech which is prone to wild market shift in any direction.

This concerns me about what will happen to bitcoin price after 2016 ? Will it crash after the block halving ? Is there any upcoming incident in 2017-18 that may push the price up again ?

We have got an answer to this year old Q.
