We've had two crazy weeks, with lots getting planned and accomplished. The capitalization of Darknote now stands at around $1.2 million, having more than doubled since we set off on our mission. With the XDN foundation website now launched ( http://xdnfoundation.org/), three new team members brought on-board, and the XDN market study accomplished – we are moving on to the next important stage of our plan. Today, I am happy to announce the start of the XDN crowdfunding campaign. More information about the campaign can be found by visiting the following link: http://xdnfoundation.org/fundraising. To facilitate XDN Foundation’s crowdfunding round we carried out a study to learn more about the XDN market, and the stakeholders’ preferences. We did a survey of a sample of XDN holders and received an overwhelming response. The fact that most of the replies were very positive indicates that our mission is being received well by the XDN community, and we are very grateful for this. The results of our research are quite conclusive, showing that the community of XDN holders is both large and active. However, we felt it was difficult, and somewhat inappropriate, to narrow down the numbers of possible XDN holders too much, so we have decided to indicate only the estimated boundaries of the community size – from 10k to 100k. We also concluded that the average stake of the XDN holders is around 1-2 million in Darknotes. The holders with above the average stakes are in possession of around 2-5 million of Darknotes. There are however also some holders, who are in possession of staggering 100 million or more of Darknotes. This survey gave us some very positive feedback and strengthened our confidence about the success of our mission. It also helped us set our financial goals for the campaign – 50 million Darknotes. With such support from the community, I am confident that we will achieve this goal. The campaign will last until Thursday, the 9th of June 2015. To uphold the credibility of our crowdfunding campaign we will post screenshots of all the donations dropping into the wallet. We will make sure that the community drives both this process, and the future development of the XDN Foundation. Join us and let’s make history together!

Will definitely integrate OpenAlias in our next releases after Quantum leap 2.0 . Less than 1000 blocks until 132000 block.

I like that technology, i like the possibility of using an existing infrastructure of DNS. So it will be integrated with XDN. But OpenAliases should be only a part of solution, because there is no blockchain DNS decentralization in that approach, but everything should be decentralized. My mind is focused on future Sat. release and exciting upcoming features. Get ready and thank you for your contribution.

What happens after the 132000 block? I just found out about DarkNote because I noticed the price jump and I'm not familiar with its roadmap.

With this added we can all contribute some small fee for our own aliases that will go to support the foundation. This will encourage those who wouldn't have donated anyway but feel that getting something in return garners a reason. Just a suggestion.

Hi XDN, did Darknote get delisted from bittrex? Never paid much attention to XDN before and I mostly trade on trex, for which you do have a link in the OP but there is no XDN market there... Care to enlighten me?

* jwinterm not sure what's happening... Need to get XDN on some other exchange(s). I'm not using polo anymore since verification thing, and wouldn't trust hitbtc with more than a dollar or two Not trying to pry into your affairs, but what is your hinderance of using polo because of verification? For level 1 verification, all they require is a First and Last name and the country of residence. This isnt really verification as they dont really verify anything at all. Level one allows full exchange and margin trading and a daily 2k USD withdraw limit. Getting on another exchange wouldn't be difficult given the current volume but as for implementation we are stuck with only Bitrex and Bter as potential possibilities. Bitrex is always pulling coins regularly and they tend to add almost anything off the bat to garner some form of BTC. We are currently #3 on Bter in terms of votes.

It left a bad taste in my mouth how they sprung it on everyone with 48 hours notice. Also, I've heard anecdotally that if you use a blatantly false name (Bugs Bunny or something), then they will lock your account, so I guess they verify something.
