5x current difficulty is N, which at 2.5PH/s is 111.47 hours. I'm a bit confused by your question, though, so maybe that's not what you're looking for

I'm a bit confused by your question, though, so maybe that's not what you're looking for that is ½ of what I want to know the more important part 500% = about 111 hours. I was then trying to figure what are the 99 shifts shown in terms of 500% I thought 99 shifts = the time it takes to get to 500% but 99 x 40 to 48 minutes is less then the time it takes more like 150 shifts = 500%. Since I did the 100th rental for about 4 or 5 shifts I though I could just follow them on the 99 shift list and when they more off the list they no longer earn for me. So since 99 x 45 minutes = 75 hours my 100th will fall off the list but still be earning

Gotcha. Shifts are supposed to be ~50 minutes long. Kano did a really nice detailed writeup on the payouts/shifts a few pages back. I've typically seen the same thing you're reporting 40-48 minutes or so. Honestly, I have no idea why kano chose to display 99 shifts on the page as that number really isn't relevant to the your shares' validity except on the rare occasion where 99 would equal 5N

It would make a big rental easy to track as it moves down the snakes belly so to speak.

With an average 48 min shift, that would equate to 153.75 shifts. The 123 hrs or 7,380 minutes or 153.75 shifts is how long it will take you to earn the "top dollar" of your hashing speed, assuming you have been hashing at that speed throughout that period. In other words, at the current pool hashrate, that is the ramp-up time to top dollar rate! Estimating what you'll earn in between, will depend on knowing your actual hashrate and the pool's hashrate plus the time you began mining at that rate etc etc Shifts represent that data in digestable chunks.

It would make a big rental easy to track as it moves down the snakes belly so to speak. The 99 is an arbitrary number. It doesn't actually relate to any reward calculations. There are a few pages that have limits on how much they display -> Shift pages and Blocks The size there is simply an arbitrary limit to avoid loading too much data across the ckdb<->web connection. There's a change on the ckdb todo list that I pushed down the list when it became no longer critical due to other changes. That relates to the effect of large accounts viewing shift pages. Until that's done, the shifts pages are on some arbitrary limit that is currently 99. I guess I could use something like max(99,last payout length + 10%) to ensure it shows the full recent payout. OK - added to the todo list after the graph changes I'm working on. At some stage I'll change those arbitrary limits to having a display that has pages that can be navigated, but that's not high priority (and would be after that todo item I referred to above) The Rewards and Payments show all history (but will be paged when I add paging to the web) Workers and Management show based on activity and the 7 day setting. The pool graph will (initially) be arbitrary also. Payout 349460 sent 38b0308edaa1728397bee1210a497ad95a20a3887372d7d6caff7e1e1dba21f6 and confirmed

72 hours and no blocks is making me sad I bet after we finally get a block we hit 1-2 more with low CDF like always It seems like it is a cycle on this pool at this point. I pointed my S1 back here, last time I did that the pool hit several blocks. Maybe it's lucky; here's hoping. And then... Well that was a pretty big 393% Diff - lets hope for fewer of them in the future That's the first block with the new payout addresses so if you didn't notice my comments before, the Payments page has links to both the old and new address. Got a nice 12.23% one right after! Good job to thedreamer! Maybe I'm on to something here.

Would you mind sharing your last two stats from the reward page? I am curious how it worked out after hitting the pool hard and getting a block soon after. Edit: Well I guess the block gods are smiling upon us!
