I'm not 100% on this, but I think it is an issue with autodiff on the pool. Well not the pool, it adjusts as necessary but Nicehash/Westhash require a minimum difficulty of 125 I think. So if your order is being out bid and you hashrate is dropping the pool will adjust the difficulty lower and if it is lower than their requirement I am guessing it will error out your order as you are seeing. Not sure really.
When you first connect it's 1042 diff.
If you want it to stay above some limit, set the worker to the limit on the Workers->Management page.

Yes if your connection hash rate drops down due to their poor connection from their proxy, the share difficulty will drop.
It aims to average it at 18 shares a minute.

So again, yep, if you are using an unreliable source of hashes that has some problem with difficulty settings, then use the Workers->Management page to set the bottom limit.

... and for those who don't feel the urge to hop away when we have a long block, due to the 8.6% block we just found, the block Gods have deemed that over 230% of the shares on the end of the long 392.58% block, have now received 6 rewards instead of the expected 5 Smiley

Indeed it is the unpredictable future block luck that decides how many times a share is rewarded, not the past luck.
... and this is the second time recently this has happened to over reward the end of a long block Smiley

That is good as that  392.58% block is the one I came back to the pool to attack with the 100th rental.

If you look to the right I put in the 100th to try to crack the 392% block at march 27

2015 in the charlotte shift I t cranked up to 100th the next 5 shifts and we hit the 392% block on march 27 2015 during the juvia shift.

today is the 30th and as of now those 100th rentals are still within the 5x n or 500% earning period.  After the 100th rental I dropped to 10th and near the end of all the rentals  which was the xenovia shift on march 29th 2015 I boasted to 200th.

As of right now even though the rentals are done they will earn until they reach 500%

the first to leave will be the little ramp up shift  charlotte at 4.51 th then the 99.92 th darkchii shift.  I am 19 shifts without renting  I rented 100 shifts.

At 2ph a rental is good for around 150 shifts.  So my oldest 100th shifts are good for maybe 30 more shifts.
My newest 200th is good for more then 120 shifts.

Yup. I hit the pool yesterday with 300TH.  Grin

So you grabbed at least 2 blocks and that 300th will earn for about 120 hours in a row.

You are like me you got some quick coins and now want 3 or 4 blocks as the 300th slides down but not off the list.

Yup. It shoudl at least pay for itself if things stay on course. IF it does, I'll be doing that more often.  Wink

On another note, I was renting hashes from betarigs.com and some have a problem with this pool. The admins on betarigs are telling me the pool is unstable/broken and is resetting the connections to the miners. I have no idea how or what that is, but my other miners I run personally run fine, so I don't think this is true. Kano, what do you think?

Well, firstly, the pool uptime is indeed how long ago ckpool restarted.  Uptime at the moment is 6 days.
So as long as they aren't complaining about a ckpool restart or anything we've reported here on the forum and in IRC ...

I have a little RPi at home ... that is my media player to my main TV Smiley
It is permanently mining to the pool also on the main port so I have a full independent log of connects and disconnects.
My internet is DHCP but I also have a remote log of every time it changes - and those changes should be the only time I get disconnects.
I try to force a DHCP reset at midnight so that should be most of my RPi reconnects.
So checking those 2 logs for the past 7 days

RPi disconnects (UTC+11)
Code:
[2015-03-24 00:00:35] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted
[2015-03-25 00:00:10] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted
[2015-03-25 17:14:04] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted
[2015-03-25 18:04:54] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted
[2015-03-25 19:23:37] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted
[2015-03-25 20:24:27] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted
[2015-03-26 00:00:18] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted
[2015-03-27 00:00:20] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted
[2015-03-28 00:00:23] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted
[2015-03-29 00:00:09] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted
[2015-03-30 00:00:11] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted
[2015-03-31 00:00:41] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted

And my IP address changes (UTC)
Code:
Mon Mar 23 13:00:18 UTC 2015
Tue Mar 24 13:00:16 UTC 2015
Wed Mar 25 13:00:16 UTC 2015
Thu Mar 26 13:00:19 UTC 2015
Fri Mar 27 13:00:22 UTC 2015
Sat Mar 28 13:00:18 UTC 2015
Sun Mar 29 13:00:19 UTC 2015
Mon Mar 30 13:00:16 UTC 2015

So, 6 days ago (the last disconnect that wasn't midnight) we had network problems and 2 ckpool restarts just after that.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg10879416#msg10879416
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg10880001#msg10880001

Since then no restarts, and no disconnects.

So, yep if they are complaining about the outages on 2015-03-25 that are also mentioned here in the pool thread, well not sure what there is to actually complain about. No pool is going to be up 100% of the time ... see the DDoSs all over the place recently on many pools Tongue

If they are complaining about anything since then, well since they have a custom proxy that may or may not implement stratum properly - who knows why else they might get disconnects?

We report when there are problems or ckpool restarts due to code changes/bug fixes here on the forum, and also on IRC.
We keep track of what is going on and post about it here so everyone knows.

I wonder if their complaints are vague and lack specific times?

This is what I think. A proxy svc that can't recover after a pool connx loss or restart. They are saying multiple times per day.
