If lady luck is with you it should be happening any minute now I wish I would of kept track of my long term rental as you did, stared in the middle of block 348799 some time and basically ended just after 4ce4u akatsuki. Riding the low end of price makes it tricky because there are nights sleeping that rental hash drops to nothing. The rule of thumb I stick to is if I can rent for less than the expected 1TH a day earnings, rent away! I threw in about .7 and ended up around .9, not a bad return.

Just happened - 111% - awaiting confirm Confirmed yeah that made me a winner and I think I grabbed full amount about .108 So the 100 shifts will now be winding down and any more hits will be under that 0.108 payoff. To anyone renting kanos 199 shift page is a great tool to keep track of the rentals. I advertise for Nicehash-westhash so I will be biased to rent with them. But many other renting options are out there. My 100 shifts were almost all under the current rate for 1 th. I wanted to do a 500% rental about 145-175 shifts, but at 88 shifts price for renting got higher so I did 100 shifts the last 12 or so were higher then the current rate. All in all I was close to an exact match in rates before the 2% fee charge by nice-west hash. so with that fee and with kano's small fee I should have lost 3% on my investment. I made more then that. In fact I could do great since I have more then 100 hours of earning power left. I will post the payments as they come. EditI did some quick math and I think I am at 475% on the oldest rental so I have 4 to 8 hours of full earnings.

Noob Question Alert
If I set up my account with username "Mirahan" and have my miner set up to mine to BTC Address 1G89H4qjVgtTt6PBzSAdvGu11pBi9RhrRc_worker, and I have BTC address properly entered into "mirahan" account setting, am I all set to go?
When I look at the pool stats my BTC address shows ~1 TH/s on average, so I see that I am contributing.
Just want to make sure I haven't fouled up my set up somehow and should be using account username as worker address in miner interface.
I love this stuff, glad I started ... but I know I am late the party. Still fun tho!

How many shifts before any hashes disappear? My 300TH rental is still well up there and has paid more than it's cost already with the 4th Block found since I hit the pool with it. It's at shifts 76 or so right now. How many more before it is not used anymore? Is that what the 130Hour Plus thing is for? Also, looks like Westhash has crashed since their prices went up yesterday. All my miners went to secondaries a bit ago and westhash's price is in the toilet again.

Awesome. Since hitting the pool with the 300TH 77 shifts ago, I have got 5 blocks, about 0.715BTC. Already 40% profit and my shifts are not gone yet from that rental. Nice Job!

you want to use your username as the worker for example: Mirahan_worker1 You can mine using your BTC address like that, but you wont be able to use all the tools the webpage has to offer.

I have been renting hashing power also.
I only did one rental and spent 2 BTC.
It started about half way through 34976 and stopped about half way through 350201
I have so far made 1.817 BTC. One more block should cover it, but should get paid for several more.

That was good timing! I'm curious have you already earned your ROI with that rented 10TH? I'm not as savvy as phillipma is, but yes, I've hit it off the 8 blocks we've gotten since I rented, and because of the way the payouts work it'll take a while to age out. I didn't really care about making extra BTC on it, I was just mad my new miners got held up in customs :p I've still got another 3 days on the rental, so anything else we hit at this point is just a bonus.

I did 100 shifts more to help illustrate how kano's 500% system works. To be exactly correct at 1.8 to 2.6ph I need to do more then 100 shifts but the rentals starting getting higher and higher. This is when you need to stop renting and the mathe goes from for you to against you. I spent 1 btc in rental's at Kanos favorite pool BAN - (Just kidding K). Now playing rentals into a pps pool is nuts, but my entire 1 btc rental was at 0.010 btc a th and BAN was paying 1.035 a th so 1 BTC in and 1.035 btc back in just under 24 hours. This almost never happens lower rentals then legit payouts on a pps pool just the Second time in 4 months I was able to do it. And BAN has been so bad at paying I won't try to do it again.

Also the payout generation will combine both the address account and the username account into one line in the wallet payout transaction, if the username account has the same payout address. So even if the total in one is dust but the other isn't dust, the combined value is what is checked to decide if it is a dust payout.

I'm expecting another Spondoolies SP20 tomorrow. Luckily my wife has been supportive in my mining operations. As long as we keep finding blocks
