Okay I rented for 100 shifts of hash
5 at 100th 94 at 10th 1 at 200th
I paid in .572712 btc ________________________________
anymore will be lower the the one under this.____________I still have 25+ hours of earning power
0.05902764 0.06033585 0.07818158-----------this lost some of the 100th beginning rental
0.10848541------------ 0.10878417------------ 0.10948921------------ All of these caught my early 100th rental fully along with the ending 200th rental 0.10886129------------ 0.10901577------------
0.07543100------------ 0.06897737------------ 0.03443683------------ 0.03192053------------ all of these are lower due to ramping up.
0.952xxxxx paid so far. nice profit !!
As you can see the charts below show less earning power and my average has is down to 3.1 but I can still see I guess 0.04 per block for a while so more blocks pleaseeeee!

Update to the shift graph page. You can now select up to 4 graph lines. They can be 'all' the sum of all workers, or any particular worker (and of course both on the same graph) It's on the (distant) todo list now to make is a drop down select box, but for now you have to type the workername (then click update) I do the usual testing on various browsers and devices. So if anything with a current version browser has problems, let me know.

lets say going rate is 0.0105 a th and you get 0.0102 a th you rent 100th which is 1.02btc which is .03 under the going rate. to do this alone is very hard and it just means you rented at a discount.
You pick a pool and hash and the pool sucks make hardly any blocks = you get fucked and lose. even though you paid a good rate.
In this case I paid a very good rate and the pool whaled = the best of both worlds.
Kano's pool is the best ppns pool to do this because the 500% gives more days of hashing having earnings which tend to flatten the risk out a bit.
here is what is left of my earning power. I ended on a high rental this keeps the avg up I was
100-100-100-100-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-80 more 10's-200 I am left with some of the 10 rentals and the 200 at the end my avg is down to 4.84th
4.84/1800 = 0.00268889
0.00268889 x 25 = 0.067 btc if we hit a block and that will decline.
the key to renting get a good price. High---low---high.
I did 100 then 10 then 200
My rental was simpler: 100TH (from WestHash.com) pointed at CKPool in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, the 29th, at like 1 or 2am. Cost me 1 BTC to run that for about 21 or 22 hours, basically all day Wednesday. I've gotten .162 BTC on every block since then, so far 8 of them. Which brings my total payouts from CKpool to about 1.35 btc ...and counting! But don't hate me yet. My last bet before that, also 100th for 21hrs for 1 BTC, paid just a fraction on two blocks that were solved just as my hash power came online, after which this pool saw a run of bad pool luck like I have never seen, and didnt crack a block for like a week. I do love the 500% pplns because long after I'd thought it was over, I did still get paid a little more, on the two blocks that hit after that long run of nothing. But, all told, that 1BTC bet barely paid me back .5 btc So yeah -- pool luck can be a cruel mistress!

Ladies and Gents... we got jinxed. Lulz, if we hit another 358%, luck for the last 51 blocks will still be 100% ... and for those with small displays looking at the web site, you can now make the header (permanently) smaller. If you login, to your (or any) account, under Account->User Settings there's a checkbox to use a 'mini' page header. It's stored in a cookie (almost) forever so the setting stays unless you change it, but also is only for the browser/device you set it on.

Cool beans. I aimed all my rigs to this pool now. Upped my rig rental prices so unless someone pays me above average pricing for rentals, I'm all in. Got about 12TH going now. More to come.

I'ts funny. the gas company bill for heat is 90% less this winter but the electric bill is $600 or 90% more. I keep waiting for the police to knock on my door. Thinking I must be running a grow house. LOL ....

Heh, it's autumn here - daylight savings just ended last night. Will soon be deciding if there's one (or two) of my varied old hardware worth turning on to heat the place soon P.S. Yeah prefer people to not use the thread for sales There's another section of the forum for that.

Interesting, I have 4 S5's in the basement and it was in the 80's last week, but the basement wasn't too bad. I don't think the S5's heat up as much as the S3's...but I have 4 S5's compared to the 8 S3's I had in the past. And as long as bitcoin is profitable, I'll continue to run those S5's....until the next gen comes out of course.

Let's keep this luck running! Rental prices finally dropped this morning I am ready for some blocks! Price jumped back up but orders still active. Someone keeps making orders with 10-20 BTC keeping the price high with no limit orders.

I have 2xS3 and 1xS5 that are still running. The S5 runs 24/7 but the S3s are off during peak electricity cost (~50c/kWhr) The S5 is usually blowing cool air out of it - they default the fans way higher than needed - so I had almost no problem with it during summer. The S3s fans are slower and also warmer air coming out of course.
