I think its a brilliant plan to get distribution done quickly. Maybe VPN holders can suggest the charities to receive the Bitcoin.

Think about it guys... all this coin needs is coin distribution as it already has proof of software. And for a coin to donate all its ICO earnings that will make huge news.

Where I see the name of the node? Wallet is mess.

Bitnet > settings > normal settings > Nick Name.

About the UI :
Wallet has been grown a bit lately a lot of features have been added and many more to come.
Devs are trying to squeeze it in the wallet, stay tuned for next releases.

How many nodes are connected ?
I have some 50++ easily within 60 min.

Do you have Open p2p DNS enabled ?
Bitnet > service settings.

I have not done enough testing, not much time to do so, but I think it might be related to your problem.
Default settings are off for fresh install and should be enabled for reward getting paid (?)
Will try to test that one myself to see if it has any effect.

There are still things that must be fixed or completed.
For best ICO results, these things should be fixed first.

I see lots of potential with VPNCoin... Please dont waste it by trying to grow  too fast until these things are all done.

- fix some english translations in client
- fix 'browse local website' button in client, incomplete uri
- fix, remote websites not found error
- english instruction manual ( I can help with this once i understand)

there are also some non-essential enhancements that could be done...
- no error message if tipping and client is not unlocked
- add 'unlock' button so cleartext password not required in console
- display own node in node list
