Hello World,
thanks to all miners (p3yot33at3r in particular ;-). We have reached Block 25 000 a few days ago!
This means were in the "stable phase" now. - What is the "stable Phase"?
The stable Phase means we have reached the maximum of 20 000 000 coins. From now on only coins that are degraded by demurrage will be payed as mining reward.
Endless mining rewards without increasing the overall coin amount (no inflation)- the wonder of demurrage ;-)

Glad to be involved I like the demurrage concept, this together with merge mining on a truly decentralized p2pool network provides the stability & security needed for this coin to grow. Good work  |

Its my understanding that forks of freicoin don't work with unomp pool code because of the version 3 blocks. Something about a different block template that hasn't been implemented into UNOMP's code. |

Thanks for the explanation. Maybe the problem is that Freicoin forks use RefHeight. This one need to be integrated into the block data. I fixed that for stratum P2Pool and Freicoin as parent. I could try to look into it if you think it is important, but as there is no one mining at the moment it seems better to me to put my time into contacting initiatives and creating more content for the homepage. |
