I think the network forked.. cryptopia disabled the wallet due to forking, and my wallet wont sync past October 22nd

I think the network forked.. cryptopia disabled the wallet due to forking, and my wallet wont sync past October 22nd
Have the same issue. Stopped working October 22nd... not syncing anymore... Trying right now to install the last version in case it helps... But if there is a fork.... I have to check the current situation before to do anything else People reported the issue since October 22 / 23... some support shared some nodes.... seem to help at least some people.... Did not help in my case. Is there a dev able to take charge of the issue and find a solution to the current situation... it has been 2 weeks now that many wallets are offline / unsyn and no real solution have been provided. What is the problem and what is the solution? |

There was a problem with a fork, but we are now on the correct chain and bittrex and cryptopia have enabled transfers again. If the wallet does not sync, then maybe you have to wait some time until the wallet is on the correct chain. If this dosn't help at all, then maybe you should remove all files in the Whitecoin folder, but keep wallet.dat and make a save of this file before deleting something  And then you can use the bootstrap file, so you must not sync your wallet from block 0 after deleting the old files. As it did not help, I deleted all the wallet and I am now on the process to install it while using the bootstrap file as well. When the wallet is opened, I will check if I need a conf.file. Did your run the wallet as an administrator? I am logged in as admin, but still have to open it by rightclick,.. and yes it takes a little but it syncs. sincerely autentist |

Hello BrotherJ, delete all files from the ../AppData/Roaming/Whitecoin folder except wallet.dat. Create a text-file named whitecoin.conf in the same directory as wallet.dat and put the following lines in it: server=1
daemon=1

Then start your wallet again. It should start syncing from the beginning, which takes some hours, but you can see, that it syncs. If you then use the bootstrap file as described above, your wallet should be synced in 1 hour. I have tested it and it works on my side. Please let me know, if you can sync your wallet now. Is there ia new issue since Nov 9th?
After my initial issue (following Oct 22nd forking),
all seemed fine and staking was back
But now I am realizing that staking stopped once again since Nov 9th?
My wallet seems on synch... but nomore daily staking
