seems like a long guide
I have all my coins on 1 main address.
The guide should be simply
send coins to the swap wallet sign to confirm you control sending wallet address and new address you want it to go to.
All this coin control etc is not essential for the easy guide is it?
just use this command first
listaddressgroupings
and you will see if all your coins are on one address...
then guide can be like 3 steps not pages of instructions.

You can do it multiple ways, but we needed to create a guide that will suit any user. Some people are comfortable with debug / command line commands, and others are not. There are even people who have never seen or used it. So i needed to make it as visual as possible. There was an small guide in earlier post here on BCT and on the 1st day of the swap on the swap page. But i think it was not enough info and to technical. But if more people like a command line guide, i can create those as well.

Hello, First to thanks everyone that keep this coin alive and still have faith in it. Keep up good work guys, this community is alive, don`t you worried about that Been a vile since I post here but from time to time got my eye on whats going on here. So, cut to the chase, Oizo I need your help regarding coin swap... Since I haven`t stake for a vile, when I start whitecoin legacy wallet(1.1.2.3) after reading posts here and all coin swap fuzz, it started to stake until February 26th around 11PM. As all amount of coins are now in my wallet balance I tried to follow steps from your WCS guide. Created a new swap address, followed by all steps afterwards but when I tried to send all amount of coins to that new(swap) address and after confirming amount of coins to be send, new pop up window occurs saying: "Error: Failed creating transactions". What could be the problem? Note: My wallet is not staking right now as it says that I don`t have mature coins anymore. Ask if you need more info... Thank you all again for your hard work Cheers B.

This is a flaw in every (alt)coin, the transaction consists of too many small value addresses. Try lowering the amount of coins send at once. and send it multiple times to the new address. I can assist you in slack if you want, that's not a problem at all.

Those are vanity addresses, they are meant to be there to blow ur mind and crap in ur soul. Crypto is crypto, it always existed, even before u were born. Despite being objected to by president of panama, crypto kept living and has advanced tremendously since then.

can the new wallet run right next to the old one on the same p00tr? (is the roaming folder name same?)
Roaming folder is different, Legacy : %appdata%\Whitecoin\ V2.0.0 : %appdata%\whitecoin-xwc\ Ports are the same so you might change the Legacy Whitecoin.conf to (example) listen=0 port=15816 edit: devoti0n beat me to it How do I change the Listen/Port please on my old wallet. I have tried. Thanks in advance

How do I change the Listen/Port please on my old wallet. I have tried. Thanks in advance
in "%APPDATA%\Whitecoin" add Whitecoin.conf and put in: listen=1 port={someportnumber} (default 15814) rpcport={someportnumber} (default 15815) rpcuser=rpcuser rpcpassword={CUSTOMPASS} change anything between the {} so something like: listen=1 port=17000 rpcport=17001 rpcuser=rpcuser rpcpassword=lalalapassword

HELP please...
Yesterday I withdraw XWC coins from Bittrex to my desktop wallet.
I never received them. My wallet address is correct.
I would need to understand where are my coins.
Please help...

OK, it seems that I made a mistake which is not cool about this stuff of swape... Is that true that if I transfered my coins from Bittrex to my "old" wallet there is nothing which can be done? ? This is insane.... Now, other part of the question is what do we have to do with our current coins in our desktop wallet AND in the exchange? Sorry, I am really not techy, and just the name swap is making me swet. Could I get some guidance ? thanks in advance

Ok, guys, I think this is really unfair and not acceptable that you let people loose coins because they did not take time to check this threat before moving their coins. I mean, I am sorry, but for other coins, when there is a risk or some important info when withdrawing coins from Bittrex, we get a warning info and that way we are aware of what is the risk, what we have to check. You worked with Bittrex, XWC holder did not get info inside Bittrex, no warning about the swap in progress.... You knew about the danger, and did not ask to place a not in the withdraw window to tell people to check for updating your wallet before proceeding. How could I know that there is something which wll create the loss of my coin if I withdraw them from Bittrex, if there is no warning? Please, make something for small holder who are supporting the coin on the exchange and for whom, loosing 2000 coins is already something significant. Sorry, I am not a big whale, just a tiny fish trying to accumulate and trade coins which I like and making a little money guessing it will go up one day. Please, reply and find a way to help in that situation thanks for your understanding

Hello Altcoinlover, This is definately a problem, and we are aware that this can happen, is there any way for you to contact me through slack? Regarding the transaction failure, It's not limited by the amount of coins but by the amount of input addresses, so it seems with 100 coins you still have more then 1000 input adresses, so you still need to lower them more.

Regarding your recommandations to lover the amount of coins sent each time.... this will take for even.... I am not a whale by far but I have quite a few coins ;-) and more, ALL my coins in my wallet, came from only one single address, from my BIttrex address.. Now, I am realizing that I got tons and tons of tiny stacking rewards.... so, it could be the reason. BUT, NOW, I tried with 50 and 10 coins, and still does not work!!!! I could not even make it by batches of 10 coins, so if anyway it would be lower it would not be feasable.... Sorry, I will need to get other alternative because I will not be able to swipe according to the procedure. thanks for guidance
