bump for an answer?

surely there is more to this relaunch that a copy and paste of blackcoin and that's it right?

where are the dev team or is there even a dev team here?

How about we rename whitecoin to just white?  the anon feature could be whiteout (like blizzard)

what is the swap ratio

1/1

thats if you can swap them because it has some bug in the wallet that says too many inputs for some people

not sure where the dev team are because they have not been seen on this thread for about a month

i got most swapped over but have a few left that wont send...........hopefully the dev team will show up at some point here.

Hello cryptohunter,

I'm also in the Whitecoin team and you can see a post from me if you scroll a little bit up Wink

If you have some problems with the wallet (too many inputs), then you have to join them first.
If you enable the coin control feature, then you can exactly select, which inputs you want to use.
You can only join a maximum of 1000 inputs I think.
So enable coin control feature, select 500 of the coin packets and send them to your own address.
Do this until you have only 1 packet left and then you can swap this packet also.

If you want to talk to one of the developers (oizopower / devotion), you can join us on Slack by entering your eMail address at this site:

Sorry, if we cannot solve every problem through bitcointalk, but as you know, everybody has also a real life which sometimes takes most of the available resources. Smiley

Hello cryptohunter,

I can have a look for you, just send the wallet.dat (unencrypted) to swap[at]whitecoin.info or contact me through Slack so you can send the file there.
Might take some time as real life is also asking much of me lately.

I see XWC starting to make new development. What are the news now and what is going on, plans?
Is there slack channel to get into? Thanks.

Our main focus for now, is the manual swap and porting the existing features to the new wallet (whiteos, paper wallets, inwallet blockexplorer etc. )
Once we got those things mostly covered we will release a new roadmap.

Hello tirbycat,

I have updated the instant blockchain sync. place this in your %appdata%\Whitecoin (windows) folder. or ~/.Whitecoin/ (linux).
Let me know if you run into any problems.

You can download the latest blockchain sync here:
https://github.com/Whitecoin-org/xwc-blockchain/releases

getblockhash 989500 should output

Hello FixItDad,

No, this is not necessarily needed.
But if you are not fully synced you can download the latest blockchain file here, this should save you a lot of time.:

My wallet v1.1.0.0 only allows 67 inputs through the coin control and does not let me exceed -9994 bytes,
once i exceed the bytes limit over 10,000 transfer/transaction fails
