While searching for Swift online I came across this. Have you considered it in the choice of your name, since it is an existing company in the money messaging business? http://www.swift.com and http://www.swift.com/about_swift/legal/trademark_guidelines?lang=

Nice list of services planned for the future though. Do you have a timeline when the services in the roadmap will be delivered and when they will be working?

SWIFT is a multi billion dollar business. For sending 1 swift message banks charge their customers a few hundred dollars everytime. If this coin could capture that market by drastically reducing the fees, it will be a win win win win situation for all the parties involved.

For sure I went to the bank last week and was like 'Yo. These swift messages are too high, man!"

Forgive my petulance and oft-times, I fear, ill-founded criticisms, and forgive me that I have, by this time, made your eyes and head ache with my long letter. But I cannot forgo hastily the pleasure and pride of thus conversing with you.

What you are saying is exactly true, hence my question about the choice of name.

BOBSURPLUS you know what your doing YOU ARE A BIG CHIEF IN THE CRYPTO WORLD CAN YOU TELL ME WILL BITCOIN GO BACK UP ITS SCARY...or will this take over do you think Huh is it time for a new crypto Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy see when you have made your money i will jump on the train when it drops halfprice...hope i am wrong tho i would hate to see you all Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

It is unfair at this point to say it will drop to half ICO price. That will be determined by the delivery of the dev of the services and the time to market thereof. Most people in crypto are short term profit driven and have a short attention span and that is why they make money in the initial pump and then move on. If the dev can deliver quickly within the average attention span to keep the community's interest, it should not go down. If delivery takes longer yes then the normal cryptograph will apply during development phase. It is up to the dev but he does have 320 BTC to do some development with if he wants to take it to the moon.
no bobsurplus takes it to the moon keep him happy and you will all be happy so devs treat this man like god

I thought it would be coin futures, development, delivery, usability etc. that would drive real price. Are you saying it is different? (I am not talking about short term artificial price pumps) If the devs can deliver on the road map and get it adopted by the public, the coin can be a success as imo that drives real demand and value.

Thx to the guys who threw these around at #doyouevenswift, I collected them for the thread. Maybe people want to participate and create some less serious pr-, marketing- and meme-material. The font for most memes is "Impact", btw.

Sorry but I think it's absolutely BS the dev withheld the white paper until an hour after ICO ended and instead relied on investors to decipher a jigsaw puzzle and an animated logo to determine whether you should buy into it. Call it butthurt I don't care but if devs are sitting on material and offering an ICO they should release ALL documents before asking someone to pony up their money.

My impression is that basic ideas were pretty clearly put out there in the run up and during the ico, at least that's how i made my decisions. The driving concept of 1) user experience and 2 ) modular interaction with block chain features were pretty clearly sketched out.

My guess is the tempo of the market over the next days and weeks will be maintained and probably strengthened as the the rest of these modules are gradually made public. I think the devs made a smart choice by choosing just a 4 million coin count and being conservative in their release plan. Both these choices make for strong coin economics during the 1st weeks. And if you look at the books, the ico buyers are locking down, not selling. Tells me that people waiting for ico prices to get in probably will not be getting in, and will - in the great tradition of this forum - spend their nights thereafter fudding this coin in compensation : - )
